They traded him to the cubs for scraps. the kid's name? Ferguson Jenkins. Then, just to repeat history, they thought they had another [censored], and traded him to the Cubs. His name? Ryne Sandberg
Yeah but they turned around and did it to STL in 1971.
I am with you on medina, he's good(prob not that good) but I was expecting Howard, he'll likely be a HL now. -

It's fun talking about bad trades. It makes baseball fun.
Here is one trade many consider bad....
My Marlins in 2003 traded the #1 pick in the draft (Adrian Gonzalez) to Texas for Ugeth Urbina.People rip that trade, but I think it was worth it.
We traded a guy that was a prospect that ended up being a very good player for a guy that fixed our biggest flaw (closer) and nailed down the 9th inning.
The end result: 2003 World Series Championship.Sometimes trading a prospect for an established MLB player is worth it.

Kyle Wright for the Braves is fine, but Ian Anderson or Pache would have been a good choice as welll. ( I know Pache has a prospect card but FS would fit better)

2k can't even make a wrestling game properly let alone a baseball game...they just cancelled there wrestling game because it was soooo bad with glitches and nothing working right...if sds is having issues with a game they make every year,I highly doubt 2k can make a baseball game equal or better

Am I wrong to think they went with players who will be in the majors within the next 1-2 years? I'm wondering if that would explain why they didn't go with Greene. When they originally created future stars, they said they were projecting 3 years out. I think they've differed from that now obviously, but did they choose any prospects that were super young?
After all, they have to keep new options open for future years... I'm fine with the same FS for mutltiple years but idk if everyone is.
