So far, the punishments handed out do little to sway players not to break the rules.
If they were all on PEDs they'd be facing suspensions/bans, so why not now?
In my opinion, every player still active from the 2017 Astros roster should be facing suspensions.
If the 2018 Red Sox also cheated under Cora, they should all face the same punishment as well.

It’s cheating because of the electronics involved, right?
If it was good old fashioned reading the opposing pitcher and then perhaps banging on a drum or relaying from second base, is it still cheating?
I remember a former rival player who told me his third base coach would say their first or last name depending on the type of pitch, fastball or breaking. (IE- Let’s go mike or let’s go smith).
Kind of gray.
I’d feel the firing would be reactionary to Boston and Houston and thus that itself may look bad. Maybe the timing and wording. Maybe Carlos should resign. Very difficult. -
