Don't know who I should go for in CF... complete the collection for Mantel or just wait for Springer 99 in the xp reward path.
Still need to buy Trout and Cole to complete collection but that may happen before I get to choose another prestige path player.

ya, I know eventually they start doing the "finest" and All star cards about mid to second half of real MLB season... thats usually when I stop playing as the game loses value when everyone has the exact same team every matchup. But I hope they hold off for at least another month before the flood of 99's.

none of the future stars are 99 though... yet. And we wont get another stage until summer. so at least there's some time to enjoy my God team.

I feel the more 99's they have then teams are more diverse... If there are only (1) 99 per position, then everyone will have the same team. Also, anything to upstage these dumb FS cards will be nice.

Ya I feel ya on that. I want to have more player diversity in matchups, and see different pitchers more often, etc.
I have two suggestions to SDS to make this more prevalent:-
Make 99's harder to achieve and not available on the market. (like in 2018 when the 99's were (at first) only achievable by completing ridiculous amounts of accomplishments that I actually enjoyed trying to get through.

Offer incentive to those that play RS with a handicap. Ex:
If my "team rating" is an overall 75 and I am playing someone with an overall 95, I think it would be cool to get additional XP, or to have a higher chance of post game reward if I beat them. Something like that. We would see a lot more customized teams. Gold and Silvers would have value again and we would see more people show up in online games with them.

I suppose it wouldn't be hard for them to code in a trash can audible everytime your opponent picks a fastball.. that would make 99 Springer so good
