Game is unplayable

I’m up to mid 700s. Bought the game late this year only had it about a week and am a WS player every season every year. I’m not spending money, but my god pitching is awful.
If you get to the 700s, and you don’t have Kluber, newhouser, or the other top pitchers in the game, you can’t win without scoring 10 runs.
I mean this is bad, real bad.
I love this game, but man this is bad.

Kulber and newhouser don't help much either, I've seen both of them so much that now it's kinda easy to read and rake off of em

Those who defend this [censored] show are the problem. It sucks online and offline. Hitting was amazing week one, now it’s the good okay feat and perfect perfect line out game

Pitching is so bad. Doesn’t matter who your pitcher is, what their confidence level is, or how perfect your input is pitches seem to pretty much never end up where you want them. It seems like everything either misses the zone by a mile or is center cut. All this is compounded by the fact that if you are able to located on the edges more often than not it gets called a ball. It’s so frustrating

I just can't get over the fact that pitching skill really isn't a priority. Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that the ball goes over the fence if you time it perfect, but something has got to give here. I should be able to roll out my 85-88 overall pitchers and "out pitch" someone who is just LOADED with power hitters. This game is favoring the hitter significantly more than the pitcher to the point where I just have to hope that this next pitch doesn't go over the fence. It seems more like I'm trying to fool the opponent with pitch speed more than location, and that should be the opposite.
I'm just saying that I should be able to out pitch someone without having to have Kluber or Newhouser on my team.

I'd argue that 19 is better than 20 in its current form. 20 rewards user input slightly more but there are tons of lineouts and good/okays in this game. Also, "good/popped" has been introduced in 20. Oh and the fielding is much worse in MLB 20.
