I think a brief hiatus is a good call, take some time to appreciate the little things in life that bring you joy and happiness.
This will also free up some server resources for those players more committed to giving the 120% this game asks of them.
It's a win win for all parties.

there’s too much RNG in the game. It’s shameful. You can play your a$$ off with quality contact and not be rewarded.

Yeah man, game doesn’t feel enjoyable right now. My last game I played I lost. I had 11 hard hit balls put in play to my opponents 5. The only difference is he went 5-5 on hard hit balls put in play (including two well below the knees) and I went 6-11 on hard hit balls put in play. I’ve just come to accept that there’s nothing more that can be done at times. I think what really bothers me about this years game is that they made it a big selling point that skill would matter more this year, but the evidence doesn’t seem to support that.
