Still No Team Captain Update

We didn't get something that they never promised, even though they told us back in March that it wasn't coming.

@Dolenz_PSN I’m not talking about more team affinity. I’m talking about updating captains. There’s a difference. They could simply upgrade the current ones to 99’s like they did a few years ago when the captains were in packs. Frankly, I don’t care how they do it. I just want to use a theme team. We’ve gotten 99 team captains at least the last couple years. This isn’t manufactured outrage. [censored] off. I’ve been complaining about this all year. Our only team captains all year are 88’s that came out at launch. That’s inexcusable.

I said it in another thread that I don't want that for very selfish reasons. I don't want Ted Simmons 99 to be a Brewer.
And I'm pretty positive that Red Sox fans don't want to see Clemens as a 99 Blue Jay.
I'm sure there are probably other examples of similar cases where the Jolt legend wasn't on their primary team.

Also we just got a nearly maxed hitting 99 Ortiz so the Sox captain would give us 2 99s.

I’ve enjoyed it. The +6 for a theme team isn’t even that good anyway. Not worth running. Going to guess no captains at all next year, which is a shame because I actually enjoyed them (durability, lefty, and 00s were mint).

I enjoyed them last year as by this time i'd started to play with theme teams (on and offline).
If eliminating them was their plan I think taking them out at the start of the year would have been better than what we got, as it just caused frustration for those who loved using them.
