    Posted this on reddit so I thought it would post it here although I realize most just skim over it.

    1. On the Card Total report I have had it remove all Cosmetic versions (Spooky, Ranked 1000, Roch Cholowsky) from the overall count.

    2. The legend report now properly consolidates Hank/Henry Aaron into one person. It removes three erroneous names who either did not have a live series card or had one where their name was spelled differently.

    Hi Dolenz. Comprehensive list as usual. Can I ask you a question? Do like or dislike the 2026 MLB The Show game? Just wondering your take as I know you’ve been around a long time like me. I like some parts of the game and seriously despise others. Since downloading Sept 1 free copy I found it easy to make stubs just by playing and selling dupe cards. I’ve spent around $2M and have $2M in the bank. I sport a pretty good team too. What about you?

    When I play it I enjoy it for the most part. There are still minor annoyances that pop up during gameplay (missing logos, glitchy or framey graphics in some situations).

    The part I like less and the thing I have been complaining about for years is the inevitable march towards monetization. Fewer program rewards and more pack cards. I don't play the market at all beyond selling dupes and buying the cards a want so I don't have near the stubs others have accumulated.

    I'll still take this version over MLB 18 any day of the week though 🙂

    We all know and agree that 18 was an absolute dumpster fire. As the years have gone, I have watched the demise of the game towards microtransactions.Shame really because this game used to be great. My biggest complaint is how they treat Legends. Willie Mays was one of my favorite players growing up. This guy hit 660 HR’s in his career and yet he has had many cards with power ratings low. In fact this year the Spooky card has in my opinion low power against righties and yet there are Pipeline and Playoff cards with better power stats. You can’t tell me that Patrick Bailey who was a bronze card all year and got some hits in the playoffs is now a 99 and has better hitting stats than a bonafide Superstar like Mays. Anyway keep posting what you do and keep everyone informed.

    As someone not around then, what made it so bad?

    @NotesOfJohn_PSN
    Pitch speeds were like slo-pitch softball. There was a major exchange for very few 99’s available that year. Hat, bats, uniforms and LOTS of them. You get the picture. Play though was awful . The top players were called Immortals. There was a crazy amount of grinding to earn items to exchange for the Immortals. Maybe I’m forgetting something but most people really disliked this version of the game.

    They do have future programs on the schedule, hopefully they aren't the lame Captain Blizzard nonsense like use players with the letter z in their name. Something like Retro Finest or another round of team captains to get more legends involved would be ideal

    Logic would hopefully dictate (at this point in the game cycle) to add in the remaining legends into current card series, to make collections more obtainable (i.e. all-star, contributor, post-season, milestone, awards, etc...). But that would just be logical 😕
