Insulting survey thank you pack
-
I don't have the survey but a show pack is absurd. What kind of message are you sending to the people who care enough to respond?
-
I mean, I filled it out for the good of the game, I wasn't expecting anything.
I never expect anything from any pack, because disappointment hurts.I mean that is why I filled it out too although I have little hope of any changes being made based on my feedback.

As a mainly offline player who doesn’t spend money on stubs I am definitely not their target market.

You say that, but its also probably indicative of the largest subset of DD players.
I am in that market too, but I am also willing to spend. But there is zero chance I will spend as long as they keep putting so many cards behind offline modes. Additonally, the value per dollar of stubs is awful.

@TheJeweledLotus_PSN yeah smt tells me this years game didn’t kill on stub sales. It’s rly because the price for what u get is to steep like im Canadian and the conversion is almost a dollar a stub. But year they rly made it obvious in that survey there money hungry.

I opened the survey and was honestly surprised by how long it was. I’ve spent a good part of the year providing pretty detailed feedback on the forums, most of which has seemingly gone into a black hole, so I wasn’t particularly motivated to repeat myself all over again. I probably would have engaged more if I felt the questions were getting at the issues that actually need attention.
A lot of it seemed focused on finding the right balance of what players should get for free versus what’s behind a paywall. Honestly, all of that would be fine if the game had a marketplace with some integrity and a competitive environment where cheating wasn’t allowed to flourish.
The biggest issue for me is that SDS needs to establish some basic trust that the platform is being actively monitored, that legitimate players are competing on a level playing field, and that obvious cheating is identified and dealt with immediately. Instead, we’ve watched bots dominate the marketplace and blatant cheaters occupy leaderboard spots for much of the year with seemingly little oversight.
The marketplace is essentially being left to police itself, despite being an economy where players invest hundreds of hours and, in some cases, actual money buying stubs. The way bots have been allowed to operate all year has been an enormous slap in the face to legitimate players.
You can spend all the time you want surveying players about packs, rewards, programs, and monetization, but none of that means much if players can’t trust the integrity of the game they’re investing their time and money into. That’s where I’d like to see SDS put its attention. -
@Oliver230230230_PSN well put, and that’s the exact message I tried to convey in the survey. I also did it for the good of the game and didn’t even expect a “thank you” but if your going to send a thank you , one standard pack in November is just insulting.

I'm so glad I ignored that survey, many times!

@TheJeweledLotus_PSN I got live series Ohtani in my thank you pack.

@Bridge-Piece_XBL they showed how much they listen by putting Elly behind a paywall
