I don’t understand the hate from people toward SDS. There is nothing wrong with having a desirable reward to grind for the rest of the season???
I will agree, if and only if, this is not the Reds only Finest Card.
Remember they have not received one at all yet.
I do think locking a team's only Finest behind an expensive collection is egregious. They have had a enough program cards with three programs to give every team at least 1 free earnable Finest card.

Aarom Judge or Ketel Marte ( I can see either one) as the Finest collection reward and Biz as the chase card, revised predictions. But would Ketel make sense since we just got Polonco?

I dont care one way or the other - but theres a Live today, so I dont think SDS believes Elly is the biggest reward.

What do you mean? There is no live stream if that is what you are hinting at. They would have put that on the schedule.

Who gets to define what a grind is?
The talented player or the awful player?
The person who can devote 20 plus hours a week or the one who can only spend 5-10 hours a week.
Grind is a relative term. We don't get to define it for others.

@rubicante23_PSN I don't mind grinding, I just don't want to see the grind take 4 weeks or longer based on my play style or be a game mode that I have no desire to play.
For example, I doubt I will hit the PXP legacy rewards for the All-Star players or draft. Based on my play style, I would be looking at 80+ games played with just those players to reach it and I would rather use players that I enjoy using then make an All-Star or Draft player theme team. So I already know that those two cards I'll never receive by playing the game.

So, that’s it? Elly’s the last Master. No tease? No guessing the picture? Wow! Did somebody need to catch the last train home? That being said, I loved his earlier card. He was my favorite player for a while. I can’t wait to see what it’s going to take to get him. Before the Finest Drop, I was only 5 cards short of all the voucher and uncollected sets - I don’t acknowledge the Red Roch Draft and Spooky Variants which I hope doesn’t come back to bite me. Curious to see the skippable sets. Good luck!

You know, an actual legend or an actual flashback? Instead they've given us a 2026 Finest card......

I will say the final collection is a tad disappointing but I will say they did load the programs with awesome finest cards. I just hope we continue to see legends release for the next month or two. If not then I will be very disappointed

If one wants to be pedantic, every card is technically a 'flashback'.You should know how SDS defines Legend vs Flashback by now. I don't think a single legend in the game has a Flashback card by SDS' definition.
Enough of us predicted Elly that I am not sure how it was a surprise. If you are disappointed in it that is fine but let's not say that it is not a proper Flashback.
As far as expectations it seems like the same people keep getting disappointed when there has been no change to warrant raising your expectations.
