Finest exchange via gameplay
-
My position has been that I don't mind the Finest exchanges because you actually have the option to earn these cards via gameplay and chipping away at it, instead of just buying it with stubs like so many other cards.
The counter is: thats a lot of live series, it would take forever to earn all that
So, partly because Ive needed an excuse to jump back into the game, I'm going to test this.
I will be seeing how long it takes to finish this using only things I feel the average daily player of the game would have access to
-No older conquests, except repeatable
-Only program rewards that have yet to be released as of this morning, except the 88+ inning path because I feel the average player hasnt gotten there yet
-Anything the long term miniseason goals are in play as most wouldnt have done those. I don't plan on doing the 1k total bases one
-I will always prioritize cards I dont have with the vault packs, which is a LOT more than most because i typically only buy online cards with stubs
-I will quicksell any live series diamonds I luck into with todays roster update
-If I start having absurd pack luck Ill quick sell a few there as wellThis is more for my own curiosity, obviously the community thinks these exchanges are an affront to humanity and that isnt likely to change. but I do want a sense of how reasonable this really is for people who do it the more natural way and see if Im off base in my thinking and have to eat Pete Crow

I totally agree. I'd actually prefer if you couldnt buy some rewards, and you had to get them other ways - the community would hate that.
Variety is good - but people just want everything Day One. The heads of Content Creators especially would explode if they couldnt just Day One all content.

Keep us posted. Unless they boost diamond pull rates I think it’s gonna take longer than you anticipated . Good luck.

I do enjoy your "takes" on the Forum. This particular one? I thought you might be over-estimating how "easy" it would be, but I appreciate you taking the time to try this out. Let us know your thoughts.
Me? I just opened 5 Jumbos packs (no diamonds). Also, 120 packs from completing the Multiplayer program plus a bunch of TA 15/20 packs and... one LS diamond (not Glasnow).

My guess is the mini season has a 85+ LS pack repeatable today, but probably overtuned
And the diamond rate may go up next inning, but in line with last year's which wasnt a huge bump.
We will see

This is what I am saying. The pack odds for standards are still 1 in 50 and opportunities to earn packs and rewards will soon be dwindling as content winds down and the holidays sneak up on us.

Pretty sure the diamond rate dropped from 1:50 to like 1:8 last year. The change was significant.

So the start to this was mediocre:
Finest Conquest (maybe stragglers from elsewhere too)
15 Show: Nada
6 Ballin: Nada
8 Headliners: Nada
Chase: Nick Kurtz
Vault: Michael Harris (other option was a WBC card)Status:
Parker Messick: 35%
everyone else: 0Noting that I have several bonus diamonds from the roster update, but will exclude those.
Finest MS is a little disappointing, its a LOT of hits to get those packs. But I think i will start chipping away at that tomorrow.
