@samguenther1987_PSN if it’s judge people would riot.
Would you put it past SDS at this point?

Really leaning toward Elly as SS is the weakest position atm, tulo then made, and no one else compares, maybe lindor but that arm strength. Tulo-> made -> Elly makes sense as made came out along time ago and is about outdated. It’s gotta be someone everyone wants and a massive upgrade over any other option. So elly makes most sense, I could see a juiced biz, but biz could be reward for collecting the negro league players. Cather is a very deep position ATM, not SS

Zobrist plays an elite SS. I wouldn’t mind a good Elly but we don’t have a great hitting C that can also throw out runners. I’m using Posada back there but he’s not throwing anyone out.

@Bridge-Piece_XBL also using posada and still would over biz, my favorite swing in the game. Sure zobrist plays an elite SS, but he plays elite everywhere. Talking primary SS, Elly is the best option every year

Same but would maybe move him to first and VMart to the bench.

Heck yeah.
His walkup 'song' might be: 'Hi, I'm Aaron Judge, welcome to MLB The Show!' -
I don’t think it’d be any current player. If anything they’d be in a finest collection. With all the negro league players being added I do see a collection card for them either biz or Jackie. But for the big collection it could be a very juiced Hank Arron. I don’t think he has a 99 yet. Everyone seems to think this collection has to be a switch hitter when there are plenty of legends left.

It’s because everything has been oriented around switch hitters this year. Victor, Beltran, Zobrist….why would you bet against them keeping the streak going? It’s not “everyone” it is SDS.
-
I hope it's someone fresh.
As much as I was shocked at the Zobrist call, it was at least a fresh take, someone outside the norm.Given our repetition and recent focus on cards that merely suit the meta, i think someone from left field would be refreshing.
-
It’s funny how Jeter and Griffey were game selling Legend additions over the last ten years, yet SDS basically ignores them.
-
99 OVR Roger Clemens

Corner outfield seems like the weakest spot to me. Theres not many options that combine elite speed and batting. Lots of sluggers who play mediocre outfield.

Fernando Valenzuela

I know many are just sluggers, but I feel totally overloaded with outfielders lately to the point where I could run three different teams and still have guys i'd like to play not getting a run.

Fernando Valenzuela
Good call and very possible. Only thing working against that theory is they always skip him for end game cards. I’m guessing because his pitches are so ridiculous it would mess the game up with maxed out per 9s.
-
@WolfgangMLB_XBL Yea I don't think it will be him, I just remembered him and was wondering where he's been out loud.
-
The more I think about it the more I am convinced it will be finest Elly. Looking at his stats he had his best hitting year so far, his strikeouts were down and his walks were up.
People ask about him every new drop and he only has a 94 so far. Add in the switch hitter component and this week being all about Finest and I think it is pretty likely

He's a switch hitter so I can definitely see it

I can see it. Would prefer Biz but your logic makes sense.

Clemens never got a card higher than the 97 overall, right? If so, I think he could be a candidate.
