I think it is just to designate the ultimate reward in the Program or in the case of Santana the final reward in the Mini Season.

Lol, I don't blame the content team for giving you guys like Polanco as big rewards...like, the big rewards have to be the best guys and its silly to pretend that the switch-hitting meta guys are not the best guys. They are, we all know they are.
The solution is to change the game so it's not this way.
BTW, its so ridiculous that every card since July is a 99. Like, slow the power creep WAY down. This game plays worse with crazy-juiced players anyway.
BUT we all know they wont slow it down - cause they gotta shoot all their bullets before NCAA and Madden come out (gotta show the adhd kids the super shiny trinkets by July 4)

I understand the players who use the SH Meta but I am tired of SDS pandering to it even though I have benefitted from it due to all of the switch-hitting Cardinals.

Talk about going out with a whimper; after all that buildup for Jorge Polanco, this studio really doesn't have a clue.

They finally gave us some all-timers with 99's and build it up all week only for YET ANOTHER Polanco collection reward. Meanwhile, we can reel off probably 20-30 legends who have still yet to receive a 99. Truly baffling.

They used the same card art in the Halloweek program in MLB the show 24 for the final card, Vladimir Guerrero Sr.

Polanco is usually one of the best cards in online play and I’ll take any kind of twins players. Should he be one of the best? No but like Willi Castro he is.

The problem is that they gave him a sweet swing as a switch hitter so now they are giving end game cards out based on those two factors and not the actual worthiness of the player himself.
Seems backwards.

Not sure. Maybe last year when it was the exact same card art someone asked? I specifically remember using spooky Craig kimball and Stan Musial. I didnt start playing until World Series week last year tho.

most all of the tasks in the program were easy enough to complete, so you know to get the variants you most likely need to spend 1000000 stubs each, no thank you.
