9th inning bosses revealed - Everyone already guessed these two.

Both should be awesome but I think it’s going to be at 90% chipper picked
And then next year people will wonder why SDS keeps catering to the switch hitter meta?
Based on their seasons that Ted Card should be the best card in the game, even though it won't be because it is free to earn
He led the league in WAR (10.4)
Runs (135)
HRs (37)
BB (147)
AVG (.406)
OBP (.553) <-- That's Insane
SLG (.735)
OPS (1.287)In addition, he only truck out 27 times
If ever a card deserved 125s across the board offensively.
Also, how did Dimaggio beat him out for MVP that year

@Dolenz_PSN
Three reasons- he’s a Yankee
- 57 game hitting streak
- he’s a Yankee
-
Why Chipper RIGHT AFTER A 99 Jose Ramirez?
-
Jose to DH, Chipper to third. Jose too short for the hot corner in this game.
I hate to support the meta too - but they need to change the game to stop it - as is, Chipper is so much more valuable.
Plus, hes a Signature card, which is also way more valuable.

That's fine I understand the signature card aspect.
That said, I still think Ted should have 125s in every offensive category. If people don't value that then that's on them

That’s not even the worst MVP slight for Ted. He won the Triple Crown TWICE and finished behind two Yankees. He did win in 1946 when the Sox finally went to the World Series so looks like a pattern of giving it to pennant winners. Also, he wasn’t well liked by the media.

Wow the attributes on the Chipper card are incredible. This is going to be a fun one.
-
Ted's are better. 125 on everything except power vs left.
Of course he is not a switch hitter

Yeah, I'll probably end up buying Ted in a few weeks when the price comes down, but as a Braves fan I gotta go Chipper when I get to the pack. The switch hitter thing doesn't matter to me, if he hit with his feet I would still pick him.

Haha.
These release super early in the morning here (5am) so I wasn't paying a huge amount of attention but was a tad confused as to why cc's were suggesting Chipper was way better. If i was a top player in this game I'd back my ability and try different cards, yet it seems all the top players here are so deathly afraid of a perceived disadvantage, however small, that they simply refuse to use any cards not deemed meta.
So very odd to me.

.406 average is insane too.

Pretty much his season was insane.
But this may have been back when RBIs were valued much higher, and DiMaggio led the league in those.
Unlike 2026 where the RBI leader probably won't even be in the top 10 MVP vote getters
