Ideas to keep offline community engaged for remainder of game cycle.
-
Hello all, I just wanted to throw out (and crowdsource) some ideas I had regarding making the game increasingly player friendly and approachable for the offline community, for the rest of the year.
-
Full USA map conquest, with updated reward pool, including headliner choice packs for both American and National league completions, and a Chase choice pack for entire map completion. Could add basic Deluxe packs and possibly inning and old event rewards as division series collections as well. All rewards repeatable.
-
Bring back the Run-It-Back mini-season from last years cycle, with again, updated rewards including repeatable headliner and Chase choice packs, basic Deluxe choice packs as well.
-
Expanded Diamond Quest with increased, multiple stadium bosses, with updated rewards (can do HL, Chase, but want to find a way to supplement weekend classic rewards rewards to make more obtainable).
What do you think would be a positive thing to keep the game going in the right direction for the remainder of the game cycle?

Revert CPU pitching back to 2023-2024. While content has been an issue this year, particularly with removal of TA, the gameplay ultimately is why my play time has plummeted this year.
I would possibly play through a USA map though. And if all online rewards became earnable offline during forever season it would give me some hope for 2027.

Online is pretty barren also. Events take a handful of games to finish. BR is dead and worthless. Ranked is fun enough for a handful of games but cheaters are rampant at the higher levels that I stop trying to go any higher now. Then there’s a weekend classic for a few games if you have time to play on the weekend

They could have easily had a spooky program which at least gives people something to do each day.
It's so easy, worked well last year, so it's just mind-blowing that they've instead decided to just go multiple days without any content for anyone (offline, online or hybrid), only to release a glut of short programs, before another major lull. All at a time when people should be excited about baseball and the game.
Genuinely baffles me how they could miss such easy wins.

@NotesOfJohn_PSN 100% correct it’s like they literally looked at the good from last year and took it away no ta no spooky and probably more I’m forgetting. Next year has to be a alltime game for sds.

How to keep me involved.
Give me cards to play for and earn. It seems like 90% of the cards I wanted the most (yes, Cardinal Cards) had to be bought for stubs. 5 Chase Cards, Several Headliner Cards, Multiple cards that were the rare round in Packs.
Just playing to earn stubs only so that I can buy players in the on the market is not as entertaining. I don't think there is an easy way to do it, but I would love to see the number of Cardinals cards I purchased vs how many I pulled.

Honestly, I doubt they care. I'd expect Extreme, Finest, then forever programs with a few random captain programs before '27 comes out.
