No New Chase Card

This time of year always comes around, but I'm irrationally sad whenever there's no new Chase card. It's that reminder that content, collections, and programs are starting to wind down and we're gearing up for 2027.
I know it makes sense with the MLB season coming to an end, but it still hits hard. Maybe I just have issues lol.

@NotesOfJohn_PSN it’s the first Friday without a Chase. I think they’re done with Chase packs.

Why are you hoping no more chase packs?
That just means less content in the game
Yeah I love Chase cards. I know a lot of people complain about good cards behind a big paywall but dang, I get more excited about the Chase card each week than I do about most other content.
My current God Squad has 2 Chase cards (Posada and Figgins) but Chase cards overall have been a staple for my squad all year.
Edit: actually 3 maybe? Can’t remember if Billy Wagner was a Chase.

That just means less content in the game
Many might argue that packs, especially ones that can only be purchased, are not actually content.
As a Cardinals fan who has had to figure out how to get the 5 Cardinals that they stuck in chase packs, I am happy to know that there won't be a 6th

@GodShammGod2_XBL very true I’m just thinking of this now. wasn’t the whole reason for getting rid of ta to add more content elsewhere? I still think this is one of the biggest flops of the year. Take away content and tell us ur gonna add more content but them not add the more content.

I don’t subscribe to the “my irl fav team is ____
so I need to get every _____ card” way of playing the game. But that’s just me… not saying your way is wrongAs a person with Trout, Leo, Posada, and Chone in my lineup- I look forward to chase packs. Some of them float my boat while others don’t.
As a person that just grinds DQ on goat for stubs, chase packs are more attainable to me then big collections bc im terrible at grinding out all these program
Long story short: no more chase packs means content is near the end and that makes me sad lol

Long story short: no more chase packs means content is near the end and that makes me sad lolThis is exactly my point that most people didn’t get. But also I’m in the same boat. I have over 3 mill stubs and almost every card. So when a chase comes out that I want, I go get it.
But I guess to be fair on the Chase stuff anyway, I do consider it content. I like cards added to the game that are hard for the normal person to get. Whether it’s an expensive Chase card, a collection card, something hard to grind - it’s satisfying when you have it.

I just said I was happy that I knew there would be no more of my favorite Cardinals players in packs. I would not care if chase packs continued as long as no more Cardinals showed up.
As a more casual player who knows he won't put in enough time or flipping effort to get every card just trying to get the players from my favorite team is the goal I start the year with. t

Got a Chase Pack from the wheel spin and shock horror, out came Trouser Trout.
All is forgiven, Chase Packs (not really).
