Do Moments Ever Ruin Cards for You?

I’m sure it’s a combo of bad luck and bad swings from whoever is using my controller, but sometimes getting stuck on a moment ruins a card for me. The other day it took me forever to do the Julio Franco xbh moment. I had five or six straight perfect/perfects go for singles or outs. Today it was a Greenberg xbh moment and me hitting multiple warning track power shots. I know it’s petty but after those I’m like “welp that noodle bat is never going in my lineup”
Has this ever happened to you? What moment/card?

I completely understand the sentiment but I don't think how a card plays in moments translates to how a card plays in games.
In other words, moments are a special ugly beast onto itself. I only play them when I have to.

Yeah cards play much differently in moments but if I fail a moment more than 10 times, especially due to cpu shenanigans, it will sour me on a card for sure.

Moments at the beginning of the year were actually quite fun.
Around the AllStar content release (when 99’s started showing up), they became their “pain in the [censored]” selves again.
The Moonshot moments were brutal. At least 10 times for every one. Never thought I’d finish Garrett Anderson.

Each card I think works differently for user. For instance I finished Garret Anderson on the first pitch. On the other hand Joe Torre took me forever to finish. It’s just the nature of the beast how hard or easy each card works for you. Generally I hate hitting with guys that have a closed stance. Moments for me have always been hit or miss pardon the pun.

Very true. I did the extreme Anderson one and got it right away. Allowed me to skip a couple. I practically couldn't get one out of the infield with Boggs on the veteran difficutly one. I've never been able to hit with any Boggs card in any version of the show for some reason. But give me a Lindor or an Adam Dunn and I can do no wrong.

I was extremely proud of myself! I actually got the Dave Roberts on Hall of Fame. Don’t make me say how many times it took to get it, but I got it.
(This is coming from a veteran only level player)The next one with Campanella as the pitcher….didn’t happen. Although I tried it for about 15 minutes. Oh well.

I just did the Roberts one oppo, on a hanging Curve! Then got the Dunn one first AB, oppo as well. What is going on??

Campy in the moments is crazy good. Took me forever to hit one out off of him.

Yes, there have been moments that I finished and thought to myself "I never want to use that player again". It's irrational but it has definitely happened more than a few times.

Funny thing for me is cards in moments that take forever actually seem to do better in games. The better I am with a card in moments, the worse the card plays in games for me. Maybe it's just that I had more time to get used to the swing.
