Zobrist is the rich man's willi Castro. He absolutely crushes in this game, because hes the perfect archetype.

I know they don't have a choice in team, but it feels like insult to injury having Zobrist not on the team he was actually worthy of a 99 for.
Assuming Zobrist is the final reward, it really is a joke that this big collection is strictly for online meta chasers. But I guess that's what The Show has devolved into.

This legit feels like an April Fools joke. Look I’m sure his attributes will be amazing but I’m actually glad because now I can host a fire sale as I have less than no interest in this card. I never honor last year when he was the HRDX collection. I’m not gonna waste time and stubs on him this year.

You are missing the point. Not everyone wants to play with career mediocre players that have meta swings that are switch hitters.
Why not make actual great players meta for a change?

I mean compared to other legends over the history of Major League Baseball he is mediocre. Career .266 hitter during an era where the standard to be considered good was above .300 with 166 career home runs. Went over 20 home runs three times in his career with a max of 27.
Only reason he has not been forgotten is because he was on the Cubs WS drought ending team.

I hope sds figures out a way to not make switch hitters OP. Essentially guys like Zobrist, Willi Castro, and Polanco to be the best hitters in the game over Griffey, Mays, and Babe Ruth.

I have been arguing for YEARS to stop the meta...they never stop the meta. They just give you more meta.
At least change the meta - make some other things important. Never happens. They say - just keep throwing sinkers and hitting home runs.

Also played great defense at multiple positions.
Could do everything at an above average level, but didn't excel in anything.
But the main reason he is not forgotten is because of the Rays and not the Cubs. He is easily a top 5 player for that franchise

@grimmcard4280_PSN but see, thats the disconnect - it totally moves the needle for high-level online competitive player. Its a great card for that guy, cause its meta and meta wins. Thats what's wrong.
