<![CDATA[Legends and Flashbacks collections]]>Is my thinking that this collection will be deeper/more expensive than the previous ones correct?

Who do you all think is going to be the next collection award? Pitcher? Position player?

Hoping for Griffey or Chipper end game. I am hedging on a pitcher since we haven't had one yet. If it is a pitcher, I'll probably sit this one out but knowing myself I'll probably wind up trying to complete it. Allso, I am assuming we will have one more after this?

Thus, my laugh. I play online too, but I don't field a full meta squad. I like to only collect players I loved historically, while I was growing up to the present day. I have zero affinity for the Cubs or Zobrist. For me, it would be a card collecting dust. Once again, it looks great... but man... I don't care if I never get it. Mantle on the other hand.... I want that one. LOL. This helps me make my choice to sell off everything and get him.

I mean compared to other legends over the history of Major League Baseball he is mediocre. Career .266 hitter during an era where the standard to be considered good was above .300 with 166 career home runs. Went over 20 home runs three times in his career with a max of 27.

Only reason he has not been forgotten is because he was on the Cubs WS drought ending team.

Also played great defense at multiple positions.

Could do everything at an above average level, but didn't excel in anything.

But the main reason he is not forgotten is because of the Rays and not the Cubs. He is easily a top 5 player for that franchise

They just give you more meta.
