Ok, Elly Ignored
If you thought that they would release Elly as a free spotlight card then you were fooling yourself.
It is a card desired by too many people. He's a switch hitter. He will get his card but my guess is it will be harder to get than a normal spotlight card. They'll probably make him an inning boss or a collection reward.

Elly was an April lighting card. Also another Red was in April. I mean yes, this supercharged Elly is amazing. Just need a legit one now

The Spotlight and Program are separate on the schedule so there should be a new program in addition to the spotlight.
I have not seen any announcements about the new program or the conquest

@victoryphoenix_PSN no he wasn’t a big prospect until this year. He had a decent rank last year but he still wasn’t an elite prospect until this year. He didn’t even have a position that they thought he could field.

@Apolloz_99_MLBTS that is not correct. Redsnation has been talking about him for two years. He was moved to First Base because of his versatility. But can play almost anywhere on the infield, except SS

@victoryphoenix_PSN if you want to base a how big a prospect is on a reds fan page sure. He is also an average to below defender. Every scouting report says that he was a below average defender that would most likely end up as a first base/dh type. He wasn’t a big prospect. He still became a good player but he wasn’t an elite prospect.

Where is the cutoff for elite? He was #23 in Baseball America's top prospect list going into 2026. Top 25 seems pretty highly regarded

@Dolenz_PSN like I said he wasn’t a big prospect until this season and he is no longer a prospect. He is still a bat first guy who is below average defender. He has one elite tool. Top 25 is usually what is considered elite. 26-50 is great/good. 51-100 would be for upcoming prospects.

NL RoY race is kind of interesting. Not that Stewart isnt the heavy favorite at this point, but he has the lowest WAR of the 4 and at least 2 of the other 3 will likely win gold gloves if not all 3 (Benge is doubtful but his arm has him in the running). I could see McLean winning RoY if he gets his ERA under 3.00 but thats unlikely.

He wasn't a prospect if you are consumed by the coastal bias, but to everyone else he was. Sabermetrics stats like WAR are meaningless. Stewart is absolute proof of the eye test and old school baseball far exceeding the BS that is analytics. If Stewart starts at 2B or 3B(his natural position) instead of 1B this year we aren't even having this discussion. 15 stolen bases, 31 HR and 107 RBI
