I haven't noticed it. I won a Conquest game getting the last out on a pickoff 2 days ago. First time ever.

@Sarge1387_PSN I never understood why pickoffs aren't tied to player stats. Guys like Pettitte and Buehrle were elite at it, but almost every CPU pitcher has the same move, and I really wish that were different. Reading moves from the best pickoff artists should be tough, but average or bad pitchers should have a penalty, like a higher balk risk or a much slower, readable animation.

@Jacob151167_XBL they have quirks on some pitchers I believe for this specific thing

I've definitely noticed an uptick recently.

I just it down to using different cards.

but if you make it to 3B and take a 3 step lead, they will balk you home like 95% of the time vs pick you off

@NotesOfJohn_PSN It's not even the pickoff move that I'm confused by...the AI has always thrown over at least once the second you take a secondary. It's the runners now suddenly freezing when they do.

I'll never figure out why CPU catchers suck so bad at making throws, but the outfielders have a high frequency of perfect throws when the latter is far tougher to pull off than the former.

They also cheat with slide steps but it rarely matters.

I think my All Star Aaron Judge had like 30 steals before he hit P5 because I was grinding vs conquest teams and anyone can steal on them.

This has always been the case against the CPU when taking an extra lead. But really there is. NO need to take the extra lead this year anyways since just about any runner with 75spd and 70 steal is almost 80% guaranteed to get the steal

@Rhyno1986_XBL That's my point though...they've always thrown over at least once with the extra lead. I'm talking about runner freezing every other time now.

I just hit left button like I'm going to second, then right button as they throw to get back to the base.

Never had that happen. Like i said though there is no need to take the extra lead. Heck I've seen 50 spd with 40 steal get the base stolen more then half the time this year against certain teams

THE base running in this fame this year is horrible. I've been thrown out multiple times on a ground ball on the infield and the baserunner just decides to take off but on a hit clearly In the gap and the runner just stands still.
