Hitting streak resetting itself

I was on a 256 game hitting streak and the game reset my player to a 1 game hitting streak after the next game. This has happened to me twice already. I should be on a 512 game streak by now

It's the way that the game is coded, never going to fix it, been like that for years

You'll also run into the same problem if you hit more than 255 HRs in a season

How are y'all hitting 255 HRs or that many hits in a row?
There are some games where I hit like a champ, but there are many more that I hit 4 or 5 at'em balls that go right to fielders.

Usually it’s easier to hit like that (lot of home runs and good contact) on lower difficulties with high attributes in contact, power, vision, clutch, plate discipline.
Hitting streak only requires one hit per game, so you could go 1-4, 1-5 even 1-6 every game for two seasons and still have a crazy long hitting streak.
