@Manu__SDS_MLBTS IOS. Not on a VPN. Was at work earlier today, where I likely was on a VPN, but wasn't at the time when I got the error.
Edit to add: Happened when trying to buy silver players to exchange.

I had the same. Logged out fully and back in and it works now.

So far so good! I made some transactions, put phone down for a bit, picked up and tried to make another transaction and got that error. Closed app and restarted and error was gone. I see a huge difference for the better. Well done. I hope you keep the filter on!

Update #2: Locked out again and logging out and back in not working after another 3 tries. Was mass flipping/juggling 4 cards actively and seemed to be triggering the lock after 40 or so orders, but the first time it let me right back in after logging out. I understand we are combatting bots, but it seems we keep repeating a cycle every week of having the levers too tight, loosening them and then bots just back within 24 hours.
Edited: Logging off and back on worked the third time. Not sure why that one worked. Orders placed for mass flipping Topps Now Jake Rogers. Will update again if more orders go through or if it locks up again.
Getting the same error of “request verification failed, account was not put on a score cooldown” since the update today. Logged out and back in twice but still not working at all. iPhone 12, not on a VPN. Tried both WiFi and 5G, Verizon.

Now I got a 2 minute cool down.

Waited the 2 minutes, tried again and got the the error message from my first message. Tried restarting the app and got hit with a 4 minute cool down.

What's the point of the marketplace showing better margins when every honest human player is getting slapped with cool downs like this.
There be better way.... but wait there is.... IP ban/console ban the content creators that promoting these third party stub sites.
I know, I know SDS won't take it that far because they stand to lose money by pissing of these devious content creators and they lose all of that free advertising.
If we aren't battling the bots then we are battling this. Quite honestly, the bots don't smack my knuckles or put me in the naughty corner. They also don't bother me doing silver to gold exchanges either.

I have had a CC Sabathia card stuck in a sell order since 1:42 PM Pacific time and every time I try to delete that cell order, it puts me in a cooldown. My cooldown has been extended several times. This is totally deflating.

I humbly appreciate and I thank you for the pass. But why does ever other honest player have to suffer. Isn't there a better way that there is minimal suffering. Obviously you can tell I'm a honest player, not a bot or a slime bag third party stub seller or someone who buys from those sites or obviously from my language not a promoter or you wouldn't have given me a pass. There has got to be a way to vet honest players so they aren't caught up in this.
I know you are working hard on this and it's not easy but you have content creators who are pretending to be on your all side and slicing your alls throats at same time by promoting the very sites that are stealing from you. The methods you are using to fight these third party sites are restricting the very honest players that has helped grow this great franchise. All the while content creators use their alt accounts and continue promoting and making money that should b going into SDS's pockets and the content creators keep going as nothing ever happened. Meanwhile the honest players are burdened with the brunt of restrictions and cool downs that are meant not to eradicate the bots but merely slow them down.
I am humbly and truly sorry for how my frustrations has come out. Your loyal paying customers that stand by SDS through the highs and lows year in and year out truly do deserve better then being treated as a bot. I would have to venture to say for every 1 dishonest player that uses scripts and bots there are at least 100 honest players playing this great game abiding by the ToS and not cheating this great franchise!

@Manu__SDS_MLBTS everything has been working great. I ran into that error once or twice but no big deal. I think you have a pretty good understanding of the problems you’re trying to fix here and a good read on data that shows you this filter is effectively working. As always, I appreciate your efforts on attention to this matter.

@DrBear100_PSN dude, he’s trying to help here. He works on the app and that’s it. He sees how the app has been used to exploit the market place and is trying to put an end to it. There’s tens of thousands of dd players trying to use the marketplace and there were bots on almost every card in the marketplace that were preventing players from getting them and or flipping them. A few players may be initially having problems with the app, which was mentioned as a possibility when this filter was activated a few hours ago. You got an error. Noted. A couple others got errors. Noted. It’s should also be noted that I’m not noticing bots on any cards and I don’t see anybody else saying they are either. If you are on the side of the humans trying to play the game, take a chill pill and let him try to fix it. We’ve all been in here bitchein for them to fix this so let’s let it happen. This is great.
