After much debate I chose Sandberg

I was going to take him but I think when I get there, at 98 now, I'm going with Larkin.

Ratboy,
Let me guess, you were up in a MTO series and leading the game when Ryno booted it? I’ve learned it doesn’t matter who you have at second base in certain instances. The cpu will try to make the game closer by getting a runner on. Let me guess, the next batter drove that guy in? Par for the course. -
Anybody pick Larkin? He was one of my better hitters last year.

I am currently Bronze 92ish, once I hit Silver I am taking Sandberg. I am a Cubs fan so I am very biased but I need a 3rd baseman (going to keep my CAP at 2nd).

Sandberg booted a routine double play ball that almost cost me a game. Besides that he’s been pretty nice. I went Sandberg 1, Larkin 2. It’s a nice combo up the middle, but Larkins bat hasn’t fully came around yet for me.

I took Posey first. I felt like that was a no brained.
Just decided on Larkin 2nd based on my current team and so far he’s been great. I did the collections though so I have Biggio at second.

I picked Larkin and can’t hit for [censored] with him. He has a very quick swing (think Steve Finley) which I usually do very well with so it’s odd. His power attributes are high, but never hits HRs. The best way to get a hit with him seems to be waiting on an outside pitch and trying to hit an opposite field single to RF. That being said, when he does get on base he is very fast and steals bases easily. Also plays perfect defense at SS

My three picks have been Posey, Minoso and Sandberg. The only one i regret is Posey. Wish i had gone with Larkin.
