My son bought stubs one time in July using my account and I didn’t even know about it until today when my account was banned. It is saying in my account that I am banned for 3 years for stub transferring in the marketplace. Is this what this is for because he bought stubs from U4GM my son is 10 years old and he didn’t even realize that this was against the rules if that’s what I am being banned for. I would also like to know is this an IP Ban or a Gamertag Ban ?

Yes that is against the rules, as far as a now it's only a gamertag ban, but you'd have to make a new account and buy a new copy of the game.

I'm not 100% sure he would have to buy a new copy of the game as its the account thats banned.
Now, he may WANT to buy a new copy of the game to play it safe as making a new account, on a title that already has a banned account, could be considered "circumventing a ban" and that could cause a console/IP ban.

I don't know what I would be more upset with my 10 year old using my credit card or paypal to make an unauthorized purchase or them sharing your account login with that company because that how they apparently transfer stubs.
Did you not notice a windfall of unexpected stubs on your account?

Blaming the 10 year old kid will not and should not get you off the hook. There are those of us that play the game right and do not use extra cheats or devices to get an unfair advantage which has totally ruined this game. -
I just want to say one thing if I have to buy a new copy of this game forget not doing it! I have given SDS thousands and I mean literally thousands of dollars in buying games in the the past decade and the stubs that I had legitimately purchased over the last 5 years runs into over 10-15k of my own real money for a fking video game that keeps these people in business and my son fks up not knowing any better and he goes and buys stubs from U4GM and these people at SDS they take my account away after all the money I have given them over the last 5 years well they can go and pound sand if they think I am rebuying this game or if I will ever buy this game again! They are only screwing themselves out of money for banning my account! Everything else I bought this year was legit from those crooks in the marketplace and I spent over $5000.00 real money that went into there pockets. My kid made a mistake one time that is no reason to ban me and my account for 3 years I have given these greedy money hungry people of SDS thousands of dollars of my money every year but this is where it stops I spend thousands of dollars for the same old [censored] over and over the same cards! Maybe it’s time for me to walk away from this game for good

The problem with this is then everyone could just say their 10 year old son did it by accident and there would be no repercussions for anyone for breaking ToS.

I don't know what to tell you, man. I've been saying for awhile that a MASSIVE amount of the content creators in this community are a bad influence on kids. How would a 10 year old even know about a 3rd party stub site? Probably from one of the content creators promoting it, I'd assume.
I'm trying my best not to call out the obvious of... "why does a 10-year old have your credit card and the ability to even do this?" but like... sorry I'm at a loss for words here. It's a tough situation, but in the end, it violates the TOS in a major way.

Because I was out of town on business and he went to his mother and told her he needed to buy stubs for his baseball on Xbox and my wife not knowing any better let him do it. He didn’t even buy that many stubs. I’m not going to sit here and explain myself. To anyone I’m just done they can keep there same BS game it’s the same [censored] over and over every year it’s just old already and it’s time to move on! Don’t worry these greedy people at SDS will put themselves out of business by given out the same [censored] every year! Doubling down… let us know how your appeal plays out. Hopefully you can get a refund from the stub sellers too. Scary to think my kids could be giving out my account info and passwords to shady hackers they contact on the internet and purchase video game cheat services from. Without my knowledge…
