Given we're two thirds of the month through and only had one 'weekly' Spotlight drop, would it not have made sense to slide Drop 2 into the cavernous week we're having now with absolutely no new content?

Not only would it have helped get these drops back closer to normal schedule, it'd also have give us something new to do, whilst also not getting lost amongst this Friday's new program, collection, event, mini season, diamond quest AND conquest.

It seems like such an easy way to lessen the discontent about a live service game providing nothing new to do for an entire week, especially given where the player base is and with the upcoming release of the second biggest live service game.

How do you feel about the cadence of content drops? Would you prefer it more spread out? Or do you prefer getting it all at once on a Friday so you can work through it as you see fit?

I don't think it really matters either way when its released. They've made these things so easy to finish now to cater to all of the complainers that its like an hour worth of stuff to do anyway.

I know that many don't like the current spotlight programs but I do. It actually is "play your way". I can go play a conquest map and make progress.

I hated when you had to earn a player, earn pxp with that player in order to earn the next player and then repeat the process to earn the third player, etc.

I love it. Since we need the cards anyway for L&F I just buy my way through. Easy XP.

And I really miss those style of missions.

There is a pretty easy compromise here: leave the cards and spotlight pack as is, then extend the program with more xp and some extra packs for doing other things. They kind of do this with the month end spotlights now but 500xp is trivial.

At this stage of the game's life its not going to harm SDS's profit by tossing a premier pack into the mix for each program.

To be fair to SDS here, they have done a good job in miniseasons with series specific goals. There are some good things they have done with content this year that get overlooked.

    Also agree with that.
I know many don't enjoy mini seasons, but i've always enjoyed them and the number of them this year has been great.

Removing player rewards from them has also been an excellent compromise for those who don't enjoy playing them.

This game is a wasteland. All it has is content creators making videos about ranked matches against the number one player in the world every day. How many number one players are there?
