Posada moments

Have to vent a bit.
Multigame moments of his are pure cancer. Every hit is weak and caught. Pitchers have unlimited confidence and commentators are aholes. "Good hit towards right middle, it is....it IS... caught by outfielder.Thought getting on base would be easy but no, at 3-1 they locate corners better then ever....
And Posada has noodlearms.

I’ve struggled with other guys moments, but honestly all of his were a piece of cake for me. I finished his 5 game moments in 3-4 games pretty easily. He had surprisingly good pop for me.
Sorry to hear you’re struggling. I just used normal swing and tried to work the counts best I could. Idk maybe I was just seeing ball really well for once lol.

Look, I hate to be "that guy" but these were the easiest things to do so far in this game. And this is coming from a guy who has took 28 attempts to complete the second inning showdown, and 30+ attempts on other showdowns to only complete three others.
-
Im glad you found it easy, and its good. I just needed to vent a bit
-
Ya sorry man...but I too was hitting bombs an gappers with him...maybe the stance doesn't work for u like bagwells doesn't work for me but posada fn rakes for me
-
Yea, i just need to redo it and learn his stqnce and swing. Its not as infuriating as Kaline moments. And its not even close as hard as J. Robinson moments.
Thats why I like to vent here, guys like you pop out and give me confidence that i can do itAs for Bagwell....i like Him but i can't hit with him to save my life.
-
I'm struggling with them and I found Kaline and Robinson relatively easy. I can't get any power on anything. Even squared up power swings die on the track.
-
Did them all on the first try and I am by no means good. Just normal swing and sit on low inside fastballs. He is a dead pull hitter based on his shift, so just try to be a pull hitter

Hm, thanks for a tip. Ill give it a try
And Im below good...:) -
If you're not using it already Directional hitting/Normal swing is your friend for these moments bud. As others have stated it's bomb after bomb with this card from both sides of the plate. The one where you play against the Mets I took 2 walks and hit 6 home runs, it was crazy.

Embarassed to say, but I dont know how to use directional hitting Switched to zone in 17 and dont know how to work with directional anymore

Just wait for a pitch in the zone and time it up. No aiming involved.

Understood, I'm a zone hitter as well but for any of these moments I'll switch to directional just to get them over with. Even cards with limited power like gold Jackie Robinson magically discover their power stroke with directional hitting.
Anyway switch to directional and hold the stick straight up to influence a fly ball and just wait for something up in the zone and time it properly then watch it fly and then wonder why you don't use directional all the time

It never fails, no matter what Moment or Showdown someone is having trouble with someone else will come into the thread to tell them how easy it was for them. I am sure that many are trying to be encouraging but most of the time it comes off as bragging and is not really useful.
I did not have as many problems with the multi game Posada moments as I thought I would. I struggled mightily on the 7 total bases mission though. Everything was a pop up of a line out during that mission.
If dashboarding wasn't a thing then I am pretty sure that I would almost never get a multi game moment done. I am too streaky. I really do hate multi game moments though. The mechanics of how they actually work in the game are annoying. Exiting to the menu after every game, not being able to restart even the first game without exiting back to the menu and resetting the whole moment. It is just a pain.

Anything Veteran or below I just used power swing and he would absolutely hit bombs. I think the moment that requires 8 hits 4 of mine were HRs. He’s got an awkward stance though so it might be throwing you off a bit

Thanks for everyone.

Strangely I hit nothing but line drive singles using power swings with posada, but hit plenty of home runs and doubles with the regular swing. From my experience, I’d say use the normal X swing and wait for the meatballs
-
Got them all done last night...The rookie missions were the hardest. I can't for the life of me hit on Rookie. flew through the Veteran and All-Star but I'll be damned if I can't hit on Rookie.
-
What annoys me about these moments is that every game starts the same way. Posada is in the 2-hole, and LeMahieu is on third with no outs. Has no impact on the game, it's just lazy.
-
Pop up fest for me. Maybe I don’t like his stance or swing but Kaline’s were a piece of cake compared to these. I cant hit [censored] with Posada.
