@Bridge-Piece_XBL right exactly if you were playing ranked as opposed to moon shot etc. Those averages would for sure come down.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL that is correct, especially on HOF.

@Bridge-Piece_XBL im more referring to the guys who can maintain 450 averages in ranked. Even all star with the rng in ranked hard to hit 450 over a 100 at bats. Rng takes alot of good input away. Even if you are a pro. Only way these guys are hitting 450 is if they are squaring up the ball 80 percent of at bats. Rng will take away half their hits. Puts them around a 450 average. Tell me how many players in this game can square up great input on 80 percent of their at bats?

I probably can average around 350 in ranked maybe a little higher. If im really on my game. Can I do it over the course of a few hundred at bats. Man probably not.

I have a disability that prevents me from using zone hitting. Even pinpoint is hard. I use timing because it's more realistic for me. It would also bring all the sweats down to a level that allows for a more competitive experience.

@Jacky-Chan1_XBL yeah not everyone can use the pci. I agree. Timing hitting in online play should be more relevant than it is now. At least for players 600 rank or lower.

I’ve never been a fan of the skill on this game being aiming a cursor like a shooting game.

I would love to see them scrap the PCI and really reward plate discipline and timing.

I dont have an issue with the mechanic for zone. I refuse to use pinpoint though, that's just a pure videogame-y thing to try to add an extra layer of skill where it wasn't needed.

Yeah the stupid etch a sketch drawing shapes for pitches is ridiculous. Still feel like meter is the true pitch mechanic.

@Teak2112_MLBTS lol I refuse to use pin point. Not making a drawing to throw the ball. I dont care if its the best. Sticking with Analog.

I'm thinking about switching out of pinpoint and trying something else. For whatever reason I can't throw a circle changeup anymore. Goes yellow almost immediately. Maybe I'm pitching too fast, not sure. Is there any specific advantage to pinpoint?

I’ve been switching lately off pinpoint, but the problem is the PAR is bigger on the other pitching methods.

@WolfgangMLB_XBL because they continue to make this game a sweat fest. Like I said catering to the top 5 percent of players.

Need to draw shapes to use the best pitching method with the lowest pars. Need to perfectly place pci to get hits, even then the rng takes over.

Every pitching method should have the same par sizes.

    Makes no sense.

There really needs to be a rewarding three inning game mode.

Playing nine inning games in ranked Fn sucks if you aren’t in the mood.

They have never had a three inning game mode on legend or HOF other than a very small number of events.

Really needs to be a three inning mode with higher difficulties available.

    @SpawnOfDitka_XBL

Same goes for hitting in that zone should not be over powered compared to directional and timing. If they leveled the playing field regardless of hitting and pitching method “a lot” more casuals would be willing to try other modes and every online game wouldn’t be the sweat fest they are now.

@TripleH-4481_PSN directional/timing shouldn’t ever be equal to zone. They are easiest to use than zone is. Which is why zone is more rewarding for when you give a good input

@Apolloz_99_MLBTS I agree zone should be more rewarding. But the other options should not be as much of a disadvantage as they currently are.

As far as pitching. Pars should be the same on everything besides classic pitching. Why are pars bigger on analog. Analog can be argued harder to use then pin point. Stop the sweaty bs in this game. Players should be able to use whatever pitching mode they are comfortable with, without being at a disadvantage

As someone who's tried all of these, I disagree. Pinpoint is by far the hardest. But it's also the most fun and most accurate. I had to legitimately sit in custom practice for a week before I felt comfortable enough to use pinpoint, where meter was the default I used when I first touched the game.

Idk man, maybe if you are just learning it might be hard, but after repetition it is beyond easy. Guys can throw superdots that scrape the outside edge of the zone all day on pinpoint.
