    sds can you please fight these bots of babe Ruth. As soon as you place a bid they auto up you within mili seconds. You can keep out bidding them and it’s the same thing. As soon as you pull your bids they pull there’s. Mili seconds, people are not this fast. Just monitor who’s placing those bids or who has the current highest it keeps defaulting too and boom, it’s a bot. They are using Ruth to stub harvest massive profits on each sale as they have the buy and sell controlled. It’s such a rare card and if you are going to require it for the next collection, either re-release it and tank the value, deal with the bots, or don’t require that card.

    This is 100% correct. I can't even put a bid on him without a bot going over me by 2 stubs.

    I must say, if I did have one, I'd push the bot as far up as possible and then sell it to them.

    How have SDS screwed this us so badly?

    I've seen more marketplace issues this year than i did in 15 years playing 2K.

    @TheRealJSpit_PSN same for me instant 2 stub increase. Then auto pull orders if you delete the one they up bid. The card is literally impossible to put a bid on

    @TheRealJSpit_PSN The two-stub bot(s) is/are all over.

    Still convinced it’s SDS.

    I'm beginning to come around on the idea after what i've seen the past few days with equipment.

    People who think SDS is somehow responsible for the bots just aren't thinking rationally. So your argument is that they're trying to entice people into buying more stubs by intentionally making it more difficult to use them? Wouldn't that be more likely to have the opposite effect? I know I've avoided buying any stubs this year because I don't wanna deal with the hassle.

    It's in SDS' best interest for the market to be functioning as efficiently as possible. The bots are still around either because they can't figure out how to stop them, or because they lack the resources to effectively address the issue.

    No - the thinking is logical. Motives aside, surely such a (once) incredible game company is in complete control of their game and all that happens on it. It’s not even possible to build such a magnificent game and have any part of it not be exactly what the developers want it to be. Like you notice the menus are slow, it seems weird and you hope they will fix it. But then months go by and you can’t even select a team for showdown in under 5 minutes, even though you’ve seen people complaining about the lag for months. Obviously, the game developers can make in game menu navigation seamless and without lag, like every other game ever, if they wanted! The fact that it is not fixed or addressed logically tells us that this is how they want it or that there is no problem with the menus. The same goes for the marketplace. This is where the game makers make money! So you have to believe they know exactly what they are doing and they are in control 100%! They aren’t going to let themselves get robbed by 3rd parties or allow their players to be ripped off by bots! Can you imagine the makers of such a successful game would just let bad actors financially benefit off of their game and their loyal player base. I know, that’s insane, right. I mean, they wouldn’t let kids spend their parents money on stubs in an environment completely controlled by bad actors and predatory bots. Imagine that! Ludicrous, right? So logically, the market must be functioning exactly as planned because we put our trust into this game company and they wouldn’t allow us to be taken advantage of. Right? So…. It’s undeniable that there are bots in the marketplace. Attempts at blocking bots are noticed (and appreciated) and not doing anything is noticed as well. And since nothing is being done, logic says that everything is functioning as intended because it’s unimaginable to think the makers of such an amazing game that you’re a fan of is actually understaffed, poorly managed, out of touch, unresponsive, ill equipped, incapable, ignorant, lazy, unprepared, unaware, corrupt, thieving, crooks that don’t care about you or their (once) amazing game. So, ya, I see why people think they are behind the bots. To those people I say, with all the evidence of incompetence displayed daily that you are giving them too much credit.
