Bot fix, locked in bids

All I know is I got restricted from the app yesterday and I do probably ten mobile transactions a week.
Their preventative measures are comical.

I put up a few of my dupes this morning and never got undercut and they eventually sold a little bit later.
So, for now, I feel like the bots are not working as much.

It's broken, and I am not a fan of cosplaying as a stockbroker by 'investing' but as a 2K refugee, eliminating the marketplace with fixed pricing is not the answer.
I wish I knew what the answer was, but when 2K tried that it was an epic failure.

Yeah, I worded that subject line completely wrong. Edited for my stupidity. Lol
Fixed pricing wasn't what I meant. It's more of a time fixed bid. And that's got it flaws, like everything else. It's basically to late this year but hopefully in the future something is done.

There is a bot issue without a doubt.
But
I think you started with a false premise or assumption.
I have seen more evidence of them working on the bot issue than any other issue, as evidenced by the various times members have been caught up in the detection tools and the fact that Manu has made several posts here as he worked on the issue
Failure to actually resolve the issue is not the same as not caring about it.

That's fair. But I also see it as the best way to "beat the bots" is to make it not worth their time invested. How does SDS accomplish that? By having a flash sale without a stub sale. Everything SDS has done to this point has just been window dressing when the market is still as inflated as what it is.

And if a normal player can catch that than SDS should definitely be able to. At the very least they can look back and see what and why this happened. I'm betting they would have a full scale MLBTSvu investigation if a couple cards went down like that.

Get rid of the marketplace app. Console only. My online game shouldn't lag because 100,000 people are at work flipping cards in their phone

@skunkytrees7615_xbl The marketplace on the phone has absolutely NOTHING to do with your online game lagging, if your game is lagging that either means it's your internet or your opponents internet

@sbchamps17_NSW The app and game are on the same servers. It's why both are down during maintenance. If you don't think all those people cause congestion on the server you're crazy

@sbchamps17_NSW How stupid are you? If the app has nothing to do with the game then how do you post a card on the app and someone on the console buys it? They are most definitely on the same servers. Thousands of people playing on the app clogs it up. It really isn't that hard to understand. They both go down at the same time for christ sakes

@skunkytrees7615_xbl what I'm trying to say is that even when you can't get on the app your still able to actually play the game hence why when your lagging it's not because of the people on the app. Whenever you lag it's because of your internet or your opponents internet not because of people being on the app, the sooner you understand that the better

@sbchamps17_NSW They can shut each one down independently, but you can't get on the app when the game is down. That should tell you all you need to know.

Sorry to tell you this but I just asked Ashley Sanders on her twitch stream and she said that the app doesn't cause your game to lag so shut up
