    A stub sale?

    OMG
THE last thing this game’s player base WANTS or NEEDS is a stub sale!

First off, fix your servers. I haven’t had issues of late, but I see others are. Fix it.

Second, a stub sale isn’t what we need right now. The market is already inflated. We need a flash sale on Chase cards and Headliners. Live Series is dead other than Ohtani and Judge so don’t give us this 85+ live series garbage either.

Whoever is running the show (making decisions like a stub sale) at SDS should absolutely be fired. RIGHT NOW.

The community doesn’t want this, they don’t need this. The player base is already leaving for greener pastures. Fix this [censored] or you guys are done. Actually, you should have numbers telling you are just about done, because I only see the diehard baseball game addicted people still here. Casual gamer ain’t touches this dumpster fire.

SDS, look at your stupid surveys and do something for Gods sake. You absolutely suck right now.

Thirst for money above any and all else! It's crystal clear and until the current leadership at SDS is fired, nothing is going to change. Sad, an unforced error, and a perfect illustration of replacing passion with greed.

Everything you wrote is correct. The customer base doesn't want a stub sale. They want very basic game issues fixed and kept fixed, starting with bugs that have persisted for several straight years. Along the way, some game modes are overdue major upgrades to increase function and customer satisfaction, but those concepts are buried under layers of marketing.

Prices are sky high and the stub sale just makes it worse. They are probably gonna do a flash sale, but with the stub sale it doesn’t help much. This is just the worst year ever and it isn’t getting any better.

We just came off of 2 ineffective flash sales that did absolutely nothing went into a stub sale that hyper inflated the marketplace and we are having another stub sale again?! What sales weren't good coming out of the one that just ended? So instead of examining why sales weren't good, you all are just doubling down on us? Especially on a day where there was a partial outage and the app runs like [censored] again.... which may or may not be your all's fault but it's extremely tone deaf!

What are you guys doing, competing with the third party stubs sites. I guess if you can't beat em... join em.

At this point I am against anything that pushes prices upwards.

But I doubt SDS woke up this morning and just decided to have a stub sale. It has probably been planned out for awhile and had to be scheduled with Sony to get it on the PS Store (and any others like Xbox or Switch)

Hasn't the stub sale already been going on for a while? I saw they just posted about it today, but I thought I saw people saying last week that there was one? Or did that one end and a new one started?

This one is for XBOX, the one that just ended was for Playstation.

SDS is greedy like others have already said. MLB the show 26 - give us all your $$$$$

Meanwhile, someone is updating the mobile app almost daily. Like, fix the game first! I can go without the app for quite a while. In fact, if the app were to go down for an extended amount of time, maybe there will be less bots on the marketplace. And maybe those that think SDS are the bots can be proven otherwise...? Just a thought, lol.

I have zero issues with a company trying to make money. However, the bots/3rd party sites have clearly sent the market to absolutely ridiculous places. You don't compound a wrong with another wrong which is what a stub sale right now does. You first need to fix the bots/3rd party sites and cheaters then get the market correct as Mookie should not be 300k (likely by increasing pack odds and flash sales) and then proceed to have your stub sales.

@DrBear100_PSN Correct me if I’m wrong, but the last flash sales didn’t include Chase packs. These cards are super inflated and desperately need a flash sale. Unfortunately, a stubs sale blunts the effects of a flash sale.

Yup. Disappointing. It’s like SDS is just trolling those of us who haven’t and won’t pull Ohtani live series.

I highly doubt that the web app developer is also responsible for actual game fixes.

Plus the app is being updated to try and curb the bot epidemic. Isn't that what everyone wants?

You are correct, but as a whole it seemed as if the last flash sale actually cuased the marketplace to go up and then there was outrage. Because of the outrage there was another flash sale for LS that absolutely did nothing to bring down the prices.

Everyone wants that. If the third party crook sites are causing hyper inflation then SDS needs not to pour gasoline on already combustable marketplace with stub sales. They need to stabilize the market and start working on bringing prices down. Devalue the cards and they devalue the stubs from third party crook sites making it not worth the risk of being banned.
