He's a good ballplayer but a phenom..... that might be a stretch.

This just makes no sense. Clement just got a good card.
I get he had a historic playoff run last year, but there are guys having a better year with no cards.

I can think of a guy who from 2018-2022 played 2b/3b/OF. Similar low K rate, but higher walk rate. Similar power except for a 25 HR outlier year. Oh and he hit .310+ 4 of those 5 years including a batting title. Only knock compared to Clement was slightly above average defense, whereas Clement is historically a very good defender.
Jeff McNeil never received a card higher than a 97 as far as I am aware. To this day SDS treats him like trash and only gives him a token early year card while ignoring his past.
Yet here is Ernie Clement being a cover athlete.

I love how they used starting all star 2B to try to sell this. Basically 'plays for Toronto'
Meanwhile Turang, Edwards, and Lowe all didnt even make the NL team....
