The number one thing SDS needs to upgrade in the game is the game. Meaning, how the actual video baseball games play out -- to make them more realistic in terms of cause and effect. Physics needs to be the single component that determines game outcomes, never random number generator computations. The prime determination of attributes needs to be the human player with the control pad in his hands.

not trying to be mean, but honestly, you can [censored] in one hand and wish in the other (that they actually answer you) and see which one fills up first.

Maybe they will put out a bulletin lying about punishing exploiters and then do nothing. Then all the streamers that used the exploit will push third party stubs which sell a million stubs for a $100 while SDS is too stupid to figure out what to do. Just a thought.

Sds has lost all credibility. Anyone with half a brain would agree. They made their bed. Lets see how it turns out for them.

They’re not going to do much beyond adding some color and maybe designing a few new cards. They might even increase the RNG so younger kids have a shot at beating more skilled players, keeping them interested and encouraging them to ask their parents to spend money on stubs. Physics will likely get worse, servers will cut off half the games, maybe the low-grade bunting skills will make a comeback, so everyone has a chance for a bunt single.

San Diego Studios, what are you doing and/or what are you going to do to fix this obviously broken game?

I imagine they'll respond with the same level of specificity that you've provided in the question.

Fair enough. I didn't think rehashing any of the numerous issues this game has would do anymore good then just generalizing the question.

I'm not naive enough to have expected an answer other then maybe a general "we value the input of..."

Reaching out to SDS in every way possible is something I was advised to do before filing a formal complaint. Do I expect anything to come of it, or the email I sent to MLB while CCing all 30 teams? No, not really. But what do I have to lose? 🫠

I appreciate your enthusiasm to contact the 30 MLB teams. That said, it wouldn't be worth your time investment.

About 16 months ago, I had an exchange with a former MLB corporate office manager. He actually did contact his former buddies in the MLB office to alert them to the overall sorry state of MLB The Show.

I am quite sure that MLB has received feedback from players and others who do play MLB The Show and have noted the same stuff we have experienced. I think MLB would love to see another company pony up a licensing deal.

Thanks for the feedback. I figured someone had went that route before. But it is good to hear.

As for time invested. I typed it out during server outages and freezes, so no time lost on my end.

Take this in MLB community. Today Carlos Beltran enters the hall of fame and rightfully so. Several years ago he was accused of being a cheater, which is probably why his induction has been delayed. He was specifically named. Smashing trash cans, exporting mini seasons, whatever. In sports everyone is always looking for an edge, a tell, an advantage if you will. Some exploits may be explained away and accepted, and some too egregious. A worked bat vs throwing a world series. Perspective, maybe friends.
