"Fix" PCI shrinkage!!! And broke everything else batting.

I had 2 coop games end in a freeze off lol. They don't acknowledge their problems ever and thats the worst part. The devs dont enjoy the game anymore and it shows. Get a new crew that has pride in their work.

Yeah it was playing like absolute garbage last night online
I'm usually not one to complain about online play... but man... this event for me is rough. I've got my 5 wins (two guys quit after my first hit), but everything feels... sluggish? I can't hit well, and my opponents are struggling. I entered a gave with a guy who had a WS logo, and usually I quit. I decided to play and beat him 1-0 in extras. Everything we hit was weak fly balls or weak grounders.
As usual, it's probably a "me" thing. But maybe not.

Offline feels weird as well, the CPU if possible is pitching even worse, I was hit 9 times in 8 games yesterday doing the conquest, before yesterday it had actually been a bit fun but something definitely feels off now.

I don't even think there are actual employees at this place anymore. the game is just beyond God awful. Past years, I'd play 3-4 hours every day. This year, I might play a full game 2-3 times a week. It's just terrible, unrealistic gameplay at this point. I can see why everyone on social media bashes the game. SDS employees - Like Lou Brown once said, "save everyone the time and trouble if we just went out and shot ourselves".

It is all done on purpose im starting to think. I mean think about it this way. New update (HOF program this week) is dropping a big program and you need people to buy the players in it. What better way to do that than to just make all the players in the entire game bad for a week. To me I think they made the swing timing window to get a good timing way smaller. Update 14 added player likeness, a HR derby mode, and they fixed a team logo bug in DD(fixed for the 4th time). Now tell me how any of that could possibly have messed hitting up so bad. If they changed something they should have to tell us about it in patch notes... Unless they are trying to scam you. I would expect it from EA but I guess they one in the same.

I've never had more difficulty with the PCI before this year. I know it's just me but I feel like I'm constantly having to reteach myself how to use it. In the previous three games I'd switch between green/purple (earlier games) or purple/black rings (later games) and be done with it (maybe my fingers are stronger on some days then others). This year it can be anything from black rings to not even using them and sensitivity sliders halfway to full. For some reason I can't get the PCI to move up the same way it moves down.

I’m finishing up a 28 game mini season and I’ve noticed that the game plays differently when there is an online event.
Yesterday, for example, not only was the CPU pitchers dotting regularly, but the ball icon that shows where the pitch is was actually barely touching the “outside” of the strike zone. Meaning 99% of the ball was out of the zone, but 1% was barely barely barely touching it. I called it “super dotting”.
Definitely different.

All the CPU does is super dot or miss wildly. I’d say 75-80% of pitches thrown fall into one of these 2 categories. Meaning only 20-25% of pitches are actually hittable. Not saying every pitch should be a meatball over the middle of the plate but there should be far more hittable pitches. Especially when we are talking lower difficulties and common/bronze pitchers. It’s why I firmly believe ratings do not matter at all for CPU players. The CPU is not difficult but is extremely tedious and annoying for sure.

@TripleH-4481_PSN that is exactly what makes offline play so incredibly boring. Literally sit there bored out of mind every at bat waiting for a strike to be thrown. I dont know how some of you can only exclusively play offline. At least online humans make mistakes.

I am not a patient hitter. But.. I just earned the final badge for "walks". That tells you how wild the CPU is this year ( I mainly play on AS difficult).
