@GoozeFn_PSN im not talking about buying. Im talking about selling. I dont care if people out bid to buy a card. Bid as much as you want when buying.

Look at john Donaldson for example. Someone entered 24,500 on the sell buy side when the card was 25,000. Immediately bots bid 24,499 and 24,498. I watched it happen in real time. What are you doing? You dont need to go 500 stubs below the next highest price.

Since you can’t leave a bid without a bot outbidding you, sometimes the best you can do is drive the price up or down to buy or sell yourself. In the Donaldson example you gave, since a bot would outbid anything I put, instead of selling for 24,500, if I can make a bot bid 24,501 on the buy side I could sell now to that bot… it’s totally stupid. I’m so confused over why nothing gets done about these bots. There is real currency attached to their marketplace and stubs currency. They sell people stubs and the environment to use the stubs is unprotected, manipulated and overrun with bad actors…

Nothing gets done because SDS does nothing. Literally, nothing. About anything. They are worthless.

Correction: They are doing an outstanding job of taking what was once THE BEST sports game made and running it completely in the ground. I swear the same people running the Mets must be running SDS.

In the case of bots it keeps the marketplace in the area SDS wants it to stay. If it's not something that directly and immediately affects the bottom line SDS does not care.

@Oliver230230230_PSN utterly ridiculous im having a very difficult time selling anything because of the bots. So people are getting flustered and frusterated so they start selling extremely low compared to what's on the board. And the bots just come right back in and its a never ending [censored] shoot.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL I do the same thing selling for the same reasons. I don’t want to have to come back and reset it.

@GoozeFn_PSNi think you missed my point. When bots have taken over a certain card. You are lowering the price of the card for nothing. Your card more than likely will not sell and you are lowering the price more than you need to for nothing.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL I’m not missing the point, I just care more about selling/buying faster than the extra stubs.

@GoozeFn_PSN so then you are one of the people making prices fluctuate more for everyone else. Got it. This post was specifically for you then.

@GoozeFn_PSN good for you. Glad you have millions of stubs that you do not need to be patient at all, and can just blow thousands of stubs like that. Hope you dont play the real stock market that way.

I normally agree but I'll give an example of why I don't care sometimes. All-star Yamamoto was like 45k-50k when the pack came out so I bought him and cease knowing the price would skyrocket like last year and yesterday I saw him over 150k and said ok that's enough profit. People on the app kept undercutting by 1 and it didn't sell for like 8 hours at various prices. Finally the margin shrank enough that I went 6k under so that tax would bring it to the sell now price making the flip stupid. My card sold for a few thousand less than "ideal" but it was still 85k profit in a week and a half of playing with the card.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL No, I spent the first couple months generating stubs so I wouldn’t have to worry about it for the rest of the year. I do the same thing every year. Once I hit 5 mil, I stop. I couldn’t care less how it affects the market.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL Not true. Now that the bots and/or SDS have completely destroyed the market (saw like 250 99 Ohtani's at same price last night, less than 2K above the buy orders btw) LMAO they aren't even trying to hide whatever dafuq they're doin?

Regardless, if u wanna sell a card in a reasonable amount of time you need to put it at a price where the profit flip doesn't exist. Same goes for putting in a buy order. IDK what the solution is to the bots and manipulation but they better figure something out for next year!

Just thought of something about these bots. If you think you're up against a bot to sell a card, why not just try one card and bid so low you can scoop it and flip it for profit? Example - try to sell for 20K when 99% of the cards are over 50K. If the bot is going to follow your lead, it will bid lower, and you just scoop it up...only if you have the stubs to do it.

They will only follow your bid to a point. Once it's too far off from the previous bid they stop bothering. So to sell or get a card in a reasonable time frame you have to bid an amount where it isn't worth the profit, if there is any.
