    Im playing the event and i can not hit anything. I have been scoreless for the last 6 games. I can play off line on HOF and wins more than half my games and even got a couple jacob degrom showdowns done, but then i go into an event and i feel like the pitches come in as if it were goat. What settings should i use in battling practice to try to improve a little bit, because this is brutal

    @Joe-Del-Maestro_XBL do not practice vs the computer in offline practice mode. The difference between playing the cpu in dd and playing online is night and day. The only way to get better is to keep playing online.

    Make sure your monitor or tv and gaming platform are hard wired to your modem.

    Put pressure on the pci, pick a spot in the strike zone to start your pci that you are most comfortable with. Particularly low and inside or high and inside. Never leave it just sitting in the middle or on an achor, keep the snap back always to the middle never ever, ever, leave your pci still attached to an anchor it promotes laziness.

    Focus on the pitch out of the hand and get ready to meet the ball with the pci that you already have pressure on.

    This is years of trial and error speaking from experience. Im not great. But im good.

    Keep your eye on the pitchers cap and you'll start noticing trajectories as pitch types. Like the last guy said " be prepared to meet the fastball" . Keep it simple.

    @Joe-Del-Maestro_XBL

    I'm not a great hitter, but I'm decent. When I'm in a rut, I do what I did when I still played ball: simplify the approach. Pick a spot, and don't swing unless you get that location. Gear up for the FB and adjust to everything else. It takes time, and you'll strike out looking a bit more...but you'll also walk more too. It's called "key-holing".

    I 100% understand the frustration, but you'll get it OP.

    I absolutely agree with you 100 percent. Im an absolutely terrible online player which is part of my frustration with this game.
    I can hit great offline on HOF mode, but online, I suck and cannot figure it out. Maybe for some odd reason my approach is different, no clue but its a night and day difference for sure.

    I struggle to hit in every event but this one seems like I have company. I was running though the strike out challenges. Most of the games were very low scoring.

    Hopefully they did something in matchmaking and I'm getting matched up with similarly crappy players. I got the 5 wins faster than I ever have.

    @elway7751_PSN offline doesnt help - I can be killing it on legend against cpu, just absolutely killing it - and then go into events or BR and play like dog water. Ill be too fast on most pitches...then strangely too slow on a teleporting sinker.

    The only thing that helps is playing 10 or 15 online games.

    @SpawnOfDitka_XBL yea youre right, offline was not helping at all. i avoided ranked and BR, just played events for the event cards. but i think its time to stick to online play.

    Playing offline wasnt helping me at all but i noticed after a full day of event grinding, i played much better offline. just went into mini seasons to grind pxp for buxton after grinding the event all day. Bumped difficulty up to legend. wasnt really expecting to win, just wanted the pxp. went 4-0.

    @Joe-Del-Maestro_XBL nice bro! More people should have your attitude. And my attitude. I sucked so bad when I started playing. I remember going 5 wins and 40 losses in the events when I first started playing. Ranked record wasnt much better.

    Alot of people on these forums experience it and quit. Instead of working through it they make excuses, call everyone who plays online toxic etc etc. and refuse to try and get better. I see right through that junk.
