Bots Control the Market Massively Now!
-
@JDHalfrack_PSN you can think that all you want but once the easier path is gone the other path gets exploited. Unfortunately thats the society we have to work with. People use software to hit and win and get ratings so they can say how good they are even when not touching their controllers. Your argument is egregious and counterproductive for sales and growth of the game
And I would argue your argument is egregious and counterproductive for sales and growth of the game. We have no evidence of your argument. But we have plenty of evidence the app is the gateway for bots.

@VOReason1976_XBL my friend got banned for flipping too. Another user that did nothing wrong but flip cards to subsidize the stubs for collections. But just because you got caught in a ban doesnt mean crush the market it means unban and fix the algorithm to find true non users
-
@greven840_PSN but they aren't unbanning people in a timely fashion and im just waiting for them to say once they eventually look at my ticket that the ban will last for rest of 26 like others.
-
@VOReason1976_XBL I agree fully on that. I personally think they should have a process to have your ban lifted via a website and move forward. Like going into a spot, input info, put a description and it lifts immediately and if they want to investigate people with several claims then delve into those. I can tell you the bots arent filling out the form and even if they are they will be caught quickly by having multiple. But restricting people from listing cards in a certain time frame is just bogus
-
@greven840_PSN I have been treated appallingly and I doubt very much they will get another cent from me.
-
@VOReason1976_XBL I can't blame ya one bit bro I am sorry you're having that experience. There are options they have available but are so inundated with issues that actually people that enjoy the game get pushed. Hopefully they fix your situation for you soon
-
@greven840_PSN appreciate it but when a company treats you badly you lose motivation to play. Going away for a week, see how I feel when I get back.
Was just hoping to use app whilst I was away.
-
@VOReason1976_XBL I feel that. I have been there too. I stepped away from my favorite game over significant issues and poor support

It's sad that games have become cesspools of modders and cheaters. Integrity in games is devoid today and most people only argue to burn it down. The app was a great time saver to play the market and make currency without resorting to spending cash. Other major titles are happy to push for more cash spend and it seems like the cheaters here are helping SDS move closer to that. Removing options should never be the plan, but finding a better way to stop the blatant cheating shouldbe the only fix. Better still, maybe people need to look in the mirror and realize they are the problem. Shame on them for their low self esteem approach to what is supposed to be entertainment and shame on us for even suggesting that we should concede to their behavior.

It's a symptom of society, but keep in mind that in a population of over 1,000 people, there might only be one who employs cheat code or bots. It's just that sometimes that's all it takes to upset the apple cart. What amazes me is how anyone can think achievement in a video game is so vital to their sense of purpose that they resort to cheating to obtain it.
But, then again, isn't that also true with all criminal behavior?
