Thoughts on this release....

Time for some positivity.
Now that we've had a chance to play with some the new cards released yesterday, what are your thoughts?
Which cards have you liked?
For me;
Kahlil Watson - I'm a sucker for an underrated Topps Now card, and this one fits the bill.
He can play every position but first and catcher, he's got a great swing, some decent speed and some really good power on both sides.Sam Antonacci - Whilst he's probably a platoon bat given his lopsided stats, those stats against righties are ridiculous.
120 contact and 94 power with a great swing and more than enough speed to steal bags and a ton of quirks.Jacob Latz - Maxed out hits per nine against both sides and a 118 K/9 against righties make up for the less than ideal pitch mix.
Loving him as my closer.Jeremy Pena - He is a doubles machine for me.
The super high contact both sides and almost maxed out clutch means the dude just finds a way to get on base.
No secondaries and only solid fielding makes him less than perfect at short, but the contact god with excellent speed makes him well worth using in my view.So, who are you loving so far?

@NotesOfJohn_PSN put durbin and ranger on my Sox tt underrated card zach gelof from using him in the event has a beautiful swing. I always love Pena cards. Latz is good and foster griffen is also underrated good mix good per9s.

Good call on Griffin.
I did really well with him in my only game I used him in.Forgot Gelof, he's really solid and i needed some more Aths for my theme team (I'm weird, I play with many different theme teams to test myself).

Umm well I'll take your word for it, on vacation but haven't really had the urge to play lol am I weird for not wanting to play it right now lol

A few years ago (I think '23) Gelof had one of the most underrated cards in the game. Always a solid swing.

@xRatedGProdigyx_PSN was that the gold that was basically a second leadoff in co-op.

I STILL have that Topps Now Justin Crawford in my lineup, I can’t justify taking him out. Man just gets on base and is a base stealing machine for me. P5’d and boosted contact. That card just works for me

I dont have an opinion on the new cards yet, because within minutes of earning them a storm in my area knocked out my electricity. So ive been sitting in the dark since Saturday evening and the latest estimate is that I'll be without power until late Sunday or early Monday. Happy 4th to me I guess. Isn't Michigan weather great? Lol
