Diamond Dynasty hitting and pitching tips

Start with your pci low in the zone, then bring it up to meet the ball. This way you are putting pressure on the pci and you have no choice but to move it. Starting low also helps you get under the ball, less ground outs, less double plays. Start here and practice.
I am the opposite. I have trouble hitting pitches high in the zone but no problem dropping the PCI to the ball. I now start with my PCI at the top and my hitting has improved. I am going to start practicing starting with the PCI high and inside since I hit outside pitches better than inside pitches.

I use Meter as well. I also pitch from the pitcher's POV. Much more realistic, although I understand why players pitch online from the Batter POV. Take advantage of the 'new' strike zone. Nibble with low changeups outside as a lefty to righties. Don't be afraid to throw Splitters high and inside once in awhile, because it's a pitch meant to be thrown low, I think, and is unexpected. With Meter, there's a way to 'take something off of pitches.' It's hard to describe. Work in back-door Sliders when you can. The new sz gave me confidence to use them. Don't forget 'back foot' Sliders. Eat White Castle Sliders between half innings as well.
For batting, what the user said about Fastballs on G.O.A.T., as well as pitches you struggle against.
I have a roster called 'BP pitchers,' where i face pitchers i struggle against in custom practice. I still struggle to pick up the Splitter, so i anchor down low. Yes, I anchor at times, but only for the low Sinker & Splitter. -
@CoachPappy17_PSN I also struggle with high pitches. But I feel like the majority of pitches come in low. Low and inside mostly. The higher pitches get rocked more if you connect. I think the majority of players pitching know this also. Just have to use what works best for you. The op has to try a few things

Buy a gaming monitor on Amazon for 50-100 or used on Facebook Marketplace.

Gaming monitor has made a world of difference for me. You don't nreed one with all the fancy frills, whistles and bells, as long as its 120 hertz, it'll be a night and day difference catching up to those high fastballs.

@CoachPappy17_PSN same I sit high and adjust. I have a easier time sitting back on low stuff then adjusting to a high fastball.
-
@Onix_Savage22_PSN I just disagree. I may not have the reactions you do. Sitting low is the way to go. Sliders 99 percent of the time come in low, sinkers 99 percent mid to low. Change ups come in low. I think in this game you have to sit low below the zone and come up, to get under the ball more consistently. Frostie does the same thing. Im gonna take the best player on the games advice. Ever since I started sitting low, ive become a pretty good hitter. Yes sometimes coming up to hit the high fast balls is a challenge. Most players dont consistently pitch high fast balls. The only pitch thrown high is a high fast ball usually.

@Ditka06_MLBTS my buddy does the same thing he’s a 1000 player but I just find I get too under it and pop out a lot. I may try it again next time I’m on.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN yeah I mean obviously do what works for you. I tried sitting high for years. I have always been a decent hitter. What he said makes sense. 70 percent of pitches come in towards the bottom half of the zone..
