Sure, take away all stub rewards from every aspect of the game. I’m sure you’d still defend them for doing that, just going off your track record.

It's a simple question Ryan, if the stub entry goes away how do you balance it properly? do you have to play every mission then? does every mission then become a restart run if failed? If there's no stub cost people could just skip the final boss every time with no consequence for losing. If there's no stub cost you could just continually redraft with no consequence. You make your stubs back by what? beating the first boss?

Far as I can tell you get past first Boss you break even. Yes I have lost that more than once, but I beat it more often than I lose it.
I've played a few more times. One of the things I am most concerned with, the final Boss is actually easier than the 2nd Boss. Yes it's on All Star, and unless you are good enough to win nearly every Blue mission, you have a bigger deficit. But because you have 20 outs and it is on All Star, unless it's a legend pitcher with well over 100 stamina, you can drain his energy, and he will walk a lot more than that Boss that is on Veteran throwing strikes.
We get 5 vouchers for completion. I think it would be nice if we accumulated vouchers for each boss, even if it is 1 for 1st, 1 for 2nd and 3 for all. For those who skip, you get all five.
I'll tell you this, knowing what I now, if it were free, I would probably skip to final boss every time and just take my chances.

-1000 stubs to reward totalYou get more then that total. 500 first boss plus silver, 1000 second boss I believe and a pack (1500) say you hit 10/15 missions that’s 1000 right there...it’s like 4,500 stubs going 10/15 so that’s 3,500 in profit including the pack for 2nd boss (1500)

Yes, but the suggestion is merely offsetting the extra profit one would gain if it went free with no consequence. I'm not suggesting that they make showdowns free (though I did in the past), I'm just saying that they wouldn't have to remove all rewards to do so.
Though I think they could add a paid one time use checkpoint at a red boss. Like, if you lost at Max Scherzer you could pay 2k stubs to restart after Nola with the team you acquired

I clearly said I lost one of the showdown MOMENTS or whatever you want to call them leading up to the boss. Reading and comprehension go great together.

It was one of the moments leading up to the boss. I said that in my original post.

If they were smart, they should have showdown for a Diamond reward. Charge like 5k per entrance and have all the challenges on All Star right until the final boss. He should be on HOF. We suckers will keep giving them 5k to try to get that elusive diamond. Don't make it a crappy Diamond. Preferably 89+ higher with reward changing so it's not the same player each time. SDS will make a bank that way.

Riiiiight, because there’s nothing wrong with the fielding and everyone is happy with it. Go give your same advice on how to catch a pop fly to all the players who have posted videos that show how broken it is. See how that works out for ya.
Or better yet, tell SDS to halt their current plans to fix fielding.

I don’t think they should make you pay stubs for the showdown because they didn’t make you pay for the moments last year.
Showdown shouldn’t be the main way to get program stars it should just be an additional way. Or it should save where you are if you fail the mini bosses.
I thinking it is screwed up that my game froze while playing showdown and I had to shut down and lost my progress and haven’t been able to get back to the final boss again.
Contacted SDS and still haven’t heard from them @Victor_SDS

I understand your frustration John, but it's part of the game. You have other options if you'd prefer to skip it
But not to get the programs done. This game is tailored to someone who is more than a casual gamer and has hours to play now. Last year was much better

Funny how yesterday he was a newbie, didn’t get the Little Billy reference, but today he’s ranting and calling out people like he’s been coming here for years; hmmm...
