Stop undercutting the market
-
I can’t stand when I’m trying to buy or sell something and I can tell I stumbled on to a flipper’s target with either one (buying or selling).
As soon as I can tell it’s a flipper, I tank the price on purpose. And make sure I do it right.
-
Did you miss economics class?

Isn’t the value of the card technically the quick sell value? Most live series, besides high diamonds will be near their QS value later in the year. So it is inevitable that cards will lose value over time, especially with the amount of free packs we get. But yes, the undercutting is annoying!
-
They've actually held their value better this year than ever before. Last year I was already buying 84 golds for 1100 stubs to do affinity exchanges.
-
They are consistently adding exchange requirements to their programs which will help keep bronze/silver cards fairly valuable for a while
-
Some people might want that sale right away....I've done it for 200 less because I needed the stubs for another purchase.....natural occurence plus for some it's a sure buy/sell!

You’re not doing anyone any favors, yourself included, if you put buy orders in that significantly undercut the value of a card.

you need to read the 2nd post in your ridiculous thread - read it over and over and over and over and over
and also learn to understand how markets work
-
Every time I pack something that shows a little value, I'm guessing at a price to sell it at and am never the wiser, especially with bronze and silver cards.

There's a lot of people who can't afford to spend money on this game. I know you can, so why intentionally ruin it for others who can't? It'd be one thing to do this sort of thing out of ignorance, but you do it out of spite and are for some reason proud of that. What bothers you so much about people trying to make stubs within MLB TS as opposed to without?

The card's value, is exactly what people are willing to pay for it. If someone wants to pay 2000 stubs for Dom T Williams, then that is what he'll sell for. If they aren't, then his price will go down. If someone is willing to sell a card for less than you think it's worth, then that's their prerogative. I don't think you get to dictate what something is worth. Prices for consumer goods changes all the time.

Exactly it just seems so immature and ignorant...really curious the reasoning

Because “making stubs” also artificially keeps the price of many cards too high. When trying to exchange for team affinity it would sure be nice to see lots of 1k golds but nope, flippers gotta flip.

It is my problem when a player has a value that averages 800 stubs and people drop the price to 500 within 5 sell orders.
LOL, that's hilarious.
If a card is valued at 800, and I want to drop it to 500, then you have the option to buy it at 500 and resell it for a small profit. What you perceive to be the value of a card may be different than someone else. Just remember, nobody is here to cater to your marketing needs.
If I want to buy or sell a card quickly, I'd rather put a reasonable gap between the buying/selling price, instead of playing the stupid back and forth game of undercutting the price in increments of 1 stub.
Bottom-line, it doesn't matter, because people can do what they want with their cards, it's their money, they can do what they want, and you're nobody to tell them otherwise. Facts.

It helps you move a card quickly while getting more than the sell order.
When selling 40,000 card, what a few hundred stubs?
Sometimes moving volume is just as advantageous as quality of price.

That's not why golds are so high. Golds are so high BECAUSE everyone wants them for team affinity. Last year team affinity was pretty meh so golds fell fast. Now everyone wants to do them, so prices stay high
-
The market dictates itself, not the buyers and sellers.
-
2 words. FREE MARKET. do whatever you want for how ever much you want. That's simple. If i want to under cut by 1000 so be it. It's way more annoying to see everyone undercut by 1 stub over and over and over again.
-
Today, The Market moved fast on cards I have been flipping the last two weeks, Yeah patience is key and it will eventually sell. As long as I make the profit I want to make to each there own

Again let people do what they want with the market. Theres always cards/ways to make stubs you just need to find them. Sometimes people don't want to go up just 1 stub at a time if i'm waiting a long time for a card i'll definetly go up 500 or whatever it takes to get said card ditto goes for selling it. At the emd of the day though the market is about having patience it almost always levels itself.
And the market is much better latley. I've made 70k in the last 3 days.
I screwed myself today, Today could have been a good day, now I have to wait for stuff to sell, I will be worth it in the end.
