Hey, everyone, I am about to start a new franchise, and I have a couple of questions.

I want to use the opening day rosters for my franchise, but I can't find where to download them. I see options for "Live Rosters" and "Default Rosters"

Where do I go to find the official SDS opening day rosters? Do I need to find some from the Vault? Does SDS add former roster/ roster updates to the vault?

Another question I had: when I look at the "default rosters", I noticed that Braves Catcher Drake Baldwin did not have a face scan; however, when I view the "live roster," he does have a face scan.

Is there a way for me to add his face scan to my own copy of the default roster? I see you can import and export CAP's can I do this for real players?

If I want an opening day roster with all of the updated face scans/ player likeness do I have to manully go back and edit everything myself?

I have a feeling these questions or something similar have been asked before. But if you guys can help me out, I would appreciate it

If you really want day one rosters, you're probably doing it yourself.

Load the 'live' rosters (to make sure you get all the updated face scans), make the changes and then save/load the custom rosters to start your franchise.

When you start a franchise, you can use the option 'Use default rosters' (or whatever it is called). The caveat is, this will give you the day one rosters, but with all the injuries, messed up 40 man rosters and no updated face scans.

So, it's make your own or don't use the updated scans.

@StinkyMcPooter_XBL Yikes, that would be an insane amount of work.

I hope that for the next game, SDS just gives us an import/export feature to update player likeness as we go.

    Thanks for the help.

Well, there is sort of good news: Anyone who has been scanned in the past, when they get updated, their scan is updated with your current save.

It's only with rookies and those that have never been scanned previously that you will have to make a new franchise or use the current roster.

And, it isn't as much work as you think. I think I was able to fix all rosters in about an hour or so. There haven't been a huge amount of changes. The big problem is all the 40 man rosters are garbage on the day one rosters. Every player that was injured in March, is in AAA and are not on their team's 40 man. This causes all manner of problems with players being DFA'ed at the end of spring training. As well as those with no options will have to pass waivers. I suggest fixing rosters before you start for this reason alone.

    Good luck.
