I love events and how at times it creates roster diversity. But why can’t I as a 550 rated player (not proud of it) be matching up with sweats. I just want to finish the program but man is it hard to just get 5 wins. 3-11 rn, why can’t they make events to where you play players of your skill?

Events used to be where people who wanted to have fun went. But since they killed BR the sweats will just go into events .

I played “4” event games thinking I could grind the event program. 3 WS icons and 1 “Touch Grass” Icon. Three disconnect losses too, which I thought was interesting.

They need to tier Events (and BR for that matter) like Weekend Classic…there’s zero reason why I as someone struggling to break 400, should be p!ssing up a rope against WS players in my first game.

I just gave up, juice isn’t worth the aggravating squeeze.

I faced a guy with a 1000 banner with me having Peanut Johnson on the mound (later brought in Elmer Rodriguez). Lost 9-0 lol.

Im someone who doesn't play ranked or WC, but loves playing Events and BR. Three inning games are great.

But the matchmaking is weird - sometimes it works like its supposed to (where you get better players as you win more). Other times it doesnt work at all - even if you stop the slider from moving.

I will say - once you get to 8 wins - they seem to have a failsafe that always matches you against really good players. They dont want you getting that 10-win reward, lol

@BLAISEBLAISE_PSN not really, its hit and miss - yesterday and today, there will be plenty of players that are not good online - theyre just trying to get event program done. Cause you only get like two days to do it, lol
