Burnitz

@Onix_Savage22_PSN lmao I knew you’d appreciate the reference

All jokes aside burnitz swing kinda sweet in game tho.

As a lifelong brewers fan, I can tell you there wasn’t much to cheer for when it came to them in the late-90’s/early-00’s. These are “team” legends, and Jeromy Burnitz was one of the few bright spots for us during that time period. For that reason, he’s remembered by most Brewers fans, which to me, kind of justifies it. Just my $.02
-
Burnitz is remembered by everyone over 35, he was really good. Willi Castro is remembered as barely a replacement-level player by fans of every team he played for
-
@rubicante23_PSN willi is simply remembered by Children who’s only ball knowledge comes from this game of ball knowers that’s it. And those kids almost 100% over value him cause he’s good in the show. I’m only 22 and Ik burnitz but I also consider my ball knowledge above average.

Yes, Burnitz had a long career and he accumulated 300 homers over like 10 to 15 seasons. That justifies 1 to 2 legend cards. Not four lol
-
@paullyg24_MLBTS that part is probably just ‘cause he’s new

Its his first year in the game. He has gotten cards for multiple teams, as he 100% should be getting his first year.
Crappy rookie Mets card, an early Brewers card, mid rockies card, and probably a low end 99 for Brewers at some point. Seems about right.
Next year he will either be gone or probably just get 2 cards
After they botched legends so badly last year with guys like Sanders this is one of the dumber complaints of the entire year.

Burnitz helped Mike Piazza and Joe McEwing chase down Guillermo Mota here, back in the day! I was watching 'Live!'

@Onix_Savage22_PSN Totally agree. It's a pretty good card. I liked his Prime card the short while I used him.

Bloke sitting on his couch playing video games opining about how 'mediocre' a 14yr MLB veteran with 315 HRs is.....
You can't make this stuff up.
