This flash sale sucks. It’s a free pack and a live series pack.

Yeah, I am waiting to see if Ohtani moves lower to 700k threshold. Hopefully upper 600's. I will move on him if he's in that neighborhood.

i bought the 3 choice packs and managed to get my ohtani finally now i just need judge to complete live series. luckily my upgrade selections all hit so i had lots of stubs i made with that update. What is this rising rookie pack is it some new collection?

It is a [censored] flash sale for sure. Free pack is nice BUT an actual flash sale on like Chase Packs would be more appropriate.

This might be the first flash sale this early in the season that has a favorable expected value. 1/26 chance Judge * 500000 + 1/26 Ohtani * 750000 *11/13 7000 (worst case scenario) = 54000
Of course its still RNG and if you dont pull either gatekeeper you will eat a loss, but typically for flash sales the expected value is still lower than the pack cost.
Probability of pulling at least one of the gatekeepers in 3 packs is only 21%.

i got lucky i got ohtani in my 3rd one. lckily i had stubs to blow from my good results from last weeks roster update. i got a sanchez and wheeler as my other 2.

Allowed myself to purchase 1 LS choice packs and got 89 Wheeler. Underwhelming but needed him anyways. I nabbed Ohtani for 685k. Will not lock him in if shoots back up to 900k+ I'll unload him and wait for the next flash sale. Waiting to see if Judge goes to under 430k if he does Ill grab him too. Not holding my breath. I'll probably knock out 2 smaller ones probably Skubal and Rameriz. Wait for the next flash sale to nab Judge.

It was 1/13 for 93+ and 1/26 for 95+
So that breaks down to 1/13 chance for a gatekeeper and then 50/50 which one it is.Of course, the smart play was still to buy them outright if you had the stubs. No idea how low they dipped though.

Took a chance! Only meant to buy one pack but the menus were so snappy today ended up buying three. Unfortunately, spent the majority of my stubs with nothing to show for it. The quest for live series completion continues.
