Asking for advice

Looking to check out franchise for the first time. I mostly like the 50s-60s era. Can anyone recommend a good roster to start out with?

There are many out there.
Go to create>vaults>roster>search 'fantasy'. I would sort by downloads.
Lots of legend/all-time rosters. If you sort by downloads, you'll get the most popular.
Have fun.

@StinkyMcPooter_XBL thanks very much

I may have learned something here. I always thought that fantasy rosters were fictional ballplayers, and historical rosters were ballplayers from different eras. If that's not the case, I may have to check out the fantasy rosters in the vault.

We're both a little right.
People do a mish-mash on the Fantasy. Some are fictional and some are legends/all-time.
But, on closer examination, historical might be a better option for what the OP is after.

If you don't want to search the vault for historical/fantasy rosters, what I do with my franchise is use the Legends roster, which is part of the game, then use the fantasy draft. Lots of great players. -

What the problem with almost all legends rosters is that you still have to include all 30 teams. Teams like Miami, Arizona and other teams that have only been around for the past 30 years or so, don't have a lot of 'legends' or all-time greats. So, they get populated with garbage players just to fill out the rosters.
At least with making your own, you can even some of them out so teams like the Yankees, Red Sox and Chicago that have been around for 100+ years aren't stacked with all the talent.
