@go4stros25_PSN they absolutely ran off the casuals. Their matchmaking sucks. They took away all the online programs besides the multi player program and event programs which take like 12 total games to complete. You used to have to play like 30 event games to get all the rewards. Battle royale no one wants to play, its utterly useless and unrewarding unless you are a top .001 percent player. Now let's talk about ranked. They used to have innings rewards and stat rewards in ranked. Now there is nothing good,,, again unless you are a top player. Once you get to the 700 rankings its all sweaty hall of fame games. Yeah if you want to know where all the casuals went. Here you go.

@go4stros25_PSN I'd consider myself a casual, and my online gameplay has dropped off a cliff. At my peak I managed to get close to 100 games online a year but I don't go on as much because of the exact reasons explained above. I stay offline for the most part, grind programs and play the odd event but I rarely go into ranked. This game was so good in previous years, it's always had issues but some of them were more tolerable.

I was thinking about a way to fix this- what if they applied the WC setup to BR as well. And I mean in the sense of having levels; Bronze, Silver, Gold, Plat, Diamond, this way you more or less ensure the playing field is equal across the board. And don't change the rewards (I know that'll be unpopular but hear me out). You've still gotta run flawless, and against people of similar skill level it should be equally difficult to attain it whether you're a bronze player or whatever the highest WC level is.

@Sarge1387_PSN anything different from what they are doing now would be great. Because what they are doing now across the board for online players is not working unless you are a top player. 95 percent of us arnt sniffing the world series rewards let alone, anything above world series. They used to let the casuals earn the ws rewards by grinding ranked online. They are forcing more and more casuals away.

Top .001% sounds about right. I am a WS player with zero interest in BR. I have played my free run and 1 game in another one. I think that is all I've played. I love the concept but it is just a waste of time.

@DemIsE4_XBL absolutely only the top .001 percent of players can go flawless. Or they are cheating. That mode is impossible to go 10 and 0 ive tried 100s if not thousands of times over the years and have not been able to do it one time. Thats a problem! You cannot cater to the top .001 percent like that. They have to bring back the battle royale program if they want people to play that mode. Normal people.

Oh, I think there are a ton more cheaters than people think. I think a ton of elites/streamers are cheating. Those cheats in the discord didn't just pop up. They've likely been there at least a few years.

This game would change overnight if they really cracked down on ALL the cheaters. Just like any other online game these days. Gaming world is literally infested with these devices.

The word sweat is an exaggeration- when did that word start being used for anyone who isn't a noob? And worse yet, its used in a derogatory way - like, how dare these players actually try while playing! I got bad news - most of these guys ain't sweating, they've just played this game for 10 years and know how it works.

I dont mind if you use sweat in the right context...but its toxic to throw it around for every dude that isn't blown away by your outlier fastball
