Card reveals for Friday 6/5 Drop
-
Between the real life Tigers cratering, the clown show this game has become, and the total neglect this game has had for the Tigers backed up by your numbers I kind of hate baseball right now.

-
Oh and I see two more Yankees in the Spotlight, so if Clemens is a boss, it'll be 10 Yankees in the last week or so.
Meanwhile, there are teams with only 12 players for the ENTIRE year.
-
Hopefully, Ryan McMahon wakes up offensively, so we get his Yankee version card 🤪
He does have a great swing. His All-Star card from a few years back was money! -
@NotesOfJohn_PSN see this is just ridiculous for Clemens I would go Sox jays even Astros before Yankees. Was same thing with Soto there taking all these cards that would be amazing for other teams and making them Yankees. It’s pathetic! Like let me guess next l&f collection gonna be a Robbie Cano or a Yankees big tex. Like the diversity in this game has rly become non existent.
-
@Dolenz_PSN Have they revealed if the card has any secondary positions? I've already got Soto at RF. Don't really have a spot in my lineup for O'Neil unless he can play CF.
-
@whitejw98_MLBTS outfield is kinda open right now - there's no great obvious choice. A lot of fine choices - happ, Beltran, mantle, singleton, judge, soto, JRam secondary, griffey if youre rich or lucky....but none of those are like the clear guy, right?

We probably won't know that until the stream when they show the attributes.
-
@TripleH-4481_PSN Year in and year out they fail at this. You’re telling me they don’t have an intern or AI that can track how many cards each team is getting and adjust content? We have someone regularly doing it on the forum for free. It’s a pathetic completely avoidable failure at this point. It’s incompetence.
-
The reveals are coming slow so far. They apparently had a tease yesterday that I missed that was taken down for a mistake and never reposted. Since the they teased the Inning Bosses and Weekend Classic rewards without showing an actual card, just that they are red diamonds
-
@GoozeFn_PSN increasingly convinced that TA is only in the game now to make sure no one is left out at the beginning (as well as to max out how many legends they can have at launch without giving us cards for the backbone L&FB series, like I’ve mentioned)
after that they don’t really care and will just fish for big market money or sell whoever they think will go down with the most people (or get them the most money)
-
I know Steve Carlton was at his best as a Phillie and that they should get the most cards of him. But he did play 7 years in St Louis and had a 20 win season with them and 3 years of sub 3.00 ERAs
This is the 5th Carlton Card since he was reintroduced and all have been for the Phillies. I am a huge Bob Gibson Fan but as long as I remember he has been the only Cardinal Legend pitcher.
Plus the Phillies have 5 diamond starting pitchers and the Cardinals have 2

I am apparently having issues this morning - deleted post
-
mistaken post - removed
-
he has been the only Cardinal Legend pitcher.
I think that's true for starters. You have Sutter this year as a "Mural". I see Lee Smith as a Cardinal in 21. Oh - I see Cy Young (!) as a Cardinal in 21 as well. Dennis Eckersley in 24.
For starters, you have "pre-legend" Liam Doyle

-
@Dolenz_PSN This is exactly what I’m talking about. This would be a perfect time to give him one for the Cardinals. Same thing with Piazza. It’s always Mets or Dodgers. He already has a Mets card. He’ll eventually get a 99. Why not make this a Padres card? He had a great season at the end of his career as a Padre.
-
Every year, this game has SO many catchers who can rake. Sometimes gets to a point where you wanna just field a team of 5 catchers.
Its extra funny since catcher is historically NOT a great hitting position
-
@Dolenz_PSN guess that was the ‘**** ******’ hint
-
So whats the consensus on the bosses? Seems like Clemens for sure, and then maybe either Devers or Ryan Howard?
-
@Pergo_MLBTS Howard has a nice swing but his cards are rarely useable cause of vision and defence.
-
@Pergo_MLBTS think it’s Howard, in which case Mike Piazza being a path player would be a red herring
