All we can do is report cheating and continue the loss or just simply quit or dashboard and hope they do something about it.

I'm pretty sure they are reviewing each one individually and us folk are probably inundating the dev team with false reports from sore losers on top of actuals. It's not something they'll resolve overnight. I guess you really can't blame SDS, but the obnoxious, low life, nerds wrecking gameplay for all. See it as a 2 way street.

I must be extremely lucky, I haven't run in to any cheaters yet online.

You have. I could do that cheat on you, beat you every single time and you wouldn't have a clue.

Not to mention the hundreds of games the person only used the pitching cheat (again if you know you know). Yes, there are a TON of these. More than the other ones.

They must be very good at hiding it then. To the point where they use a cheat but still play it out like a completely normal game and don't even win all the time.

Not everyone is cheating but there are a lot. I've lost plenty of legit games but to say there aren't that many when there were 40k in one discord alone is ignorant. Either you people are cheating or work for SDS and want the problem to disappear since they won't do anything about it. It will only get worse as the year goes on.

I never said there weren't that many. Making things up that people never said is ignorant.

So there's a lot but you've never seen any. Never said there weren't that many implies you think there is quite a few. Now if you've only played 5 online games I could believe that but something tells me you've played hundreds. They will be out in force for the WC. Easy stubs for them. SDS needs us to report them even though 99% of the people have no idea what to look for. Love when gaming companies think the issue will just disappear.

I have no idea how many people there are using cheats at any given time, but I do know they obviously exist (yes I am aware of the number in the Discord). All I can speak to is my own experience, and I have personally not run in to any games where there were obvious cheaters like others are describing here. And I have not played hundreds of online games, I have played 31 games in ranked and 10 in BR. Not sure how to check numbers for Events but thats probably where most of my online games have been.

Most of them are very subtle, turning it off and on or contact swinging. I did have one guy that scored 10 runs in the first. I actually haven't seen any in BR but I've only played like maybe 9-10 games or so.

I've probably reported a dozen. There's a chance that some of them aren't but last I checked 4 of the 7 or so haven't played this season. That was a few weeks ago. I have some names written down that I reported. I'm going to have to check those shortly as I'm curious if they are playing now.

I have things I look for. I don't just throw one pitcher and report. Multiple pitchers, checking the score and when they do and don't score, also slide step to mix up pitchers release. If they fail all these, I report through the website and the in game report.

There are a few cheaters, but I swear whenever someone loses, they claim someone is cheating.

Happens in every game. It's strange.

Dude, 40k in just one discord is more than a few. That isn't the only discord. Not only that, the other devices they sell at Game Stop and Walmart number way more than the ones they use in that discord. Do you think these people are only using these in offline play? The answer to that is some maybe but majority no.

Make a clean game and people won't claim people are cheating. Until then it is a fair assumption imo.

@Pergo_MLBTS that's likely why, the majority of the cheaters I faced were on Nintendo. But I definitely faced a couple on other systems. I mean like blatant, hitting 10 perfect HR in a row.

@DemIsE4_XBL Dude, do people genuinely believe there are 40,000 users, in a discord, all using cheats, with a list of all names to avoid, so they don't match each other.

The claim was anyone with TTV or TWITCH in their name was used to avoid each other.

Either way, how many of the '40,000' are you running into?

People lose to players better than them, or get unlucky losses, and they cry cheat.

@Sir-Robotto_XBL I agree a lot of people don’t know how to lose anymore. But if Game devs would do something about it people wouldn’t cry. Also it’s been leaked multiple times there are 40k and the same guy who leaked it did the pack glitch cause he knows where they game stands from a disciplinary standpoint.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN Oh man of course, there are 100% some cheaters, there are on every game, but I doubt it's even 1% of the time people claim.

@Sir-Robotto_XBL agreed personally just knowing how many are out there I report whenever I have suspicions. now I only rly come to this forum about it when I am almost certain the guy was cheating. And it’s rly hard to not post there usernames… but the world as a whole has gone soft I’m 22 still young but the younger kids now know nothing but getting away with stuff and participation trophies.

You seriously underestimate the cheating going on in online gaming. It is really bad and has been for a while. No idea how many I have ran into but I have certain criteria I check when playing people. If they hit all these I report. Think I've reported a dozen or so. Yes, I have way more than a dozen losses.

    @DemIsE4_XBL Nobody is underestimating cheating in gaming nowadays, it’s always been there, and maybe it’s getting worse, however;

So is the claim that everyone is cheating, just because someone loses a game.

People refuse to accept other players are better, or they have a better connection, or they got lucky with a swing, it happens.

People nowadays just can’t lose, there has to be an excuse, and claiming someone is cheating is mainly done so they have an excuse.

No disrespect meant, but the sheer numbers in a discord specifically made for the promoting of the hardware/software prove otherwise.

I believe that discord was for NBA2K, and The Show was a side thing within it

Cheating should not exist in online video games. It just shows the lack of integrity in the gaming world. Sony and Microsoft could have and should have stopped this years ago but greed always wins over integrity. There wouldn't be an excuse of losing to a cheater if the cheaters were dealt with properly either from Sony, Microsoft or the games themselves. Don't put this on the players.

@DemIsE4_XBL cheating shouldn’t existed anywhere doesn’t mean it won’t happen. People are gonna Ry cheater either way cuz they can’t stand losing. It is on the players lol they are the ones cheating. Nobody does more damage to the community more than itself.
