Even playing events it’s pause. First pitch home run. KKK Pause, first pitch home run.

Yeah, it's gotten pretty bad the past month or so. What's worse is the cheating methods out there are "evolving" faster than the countermeasures can keep up.

Look, I'm not gonna presume that every time I lose it's to a cheater. I'm not great, and I know it. That being said, I'm usually fairly close to being an even .500 player...this year I can't even get out of the 300's when I'm usually in the 550-600 range. And a good portion of my losses follow the same pattern. If I'm the home team: immediate pause, bomb, bomb, bomb. If I'm the visiting team: dot K, dot K, dot K, they come up and PAUSE bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb

I played an event game last weekend...I was up 7 cob in the top of the third. PAUSE everything thereafter was a perfect/perfect liner or a no doubt bomb. Ended up losing 10-7. It is what it is at this point. Don't get me wrong, a bunch of losses are on me...but a good bunch are definitely of the shady variety

And if it's not a cheater, its a weird bot player...then its two players who dashboard as soon as you hit a home run (without letting it land of course)...then its weird bunt dance and pause player....its just a mess of goofballs

I think the other downside of all this cheating is I now assume EVERYONE who plays good or is dotting every pitch or more than anything laying off every ball just outside of the zone is cheating. I know they're all not but my perception when playing is I'm always playing a cheater.

Yesterday in the event a guy would not swing at any ball but he also wasn't getting any good hits so Idk what that is and he fouled EVERYTHING off. It was so annoying.

I must be extremely lucky, I haven't run in to any cheaters yet online.

@Pergo_MLBTS you might just not have been able to identify any you did run into, but yeah you’re definitely fortunate to not have felt like you were playing one

I mean odds are most people aren’t cheating and you were just outplayed. But some of you are so paranoid from the jump.

No disrespect meant, but the sheer numbers in a discord specifically made for the promoting of the hardware/software prove otherwise. If you truly believe that there's no cheaters, I've got a bridge to sell you. It's extremely easy to identify cheaters when playing them as they all follow the same pattern. Now not every single one of everyone's losses, nor my own are due to cheating- I'll be the first person to admit it. But to insinuate that there are none is either inexcusably naive, or a poor attempt at gaslighting.

@Sarge1387_PSN I never once said there were no cheaters. Just that there are a few than yall want to believe. Just report them if you honestly believe they are cheating.

Based on what others have said it seems like they are easy to identify though right? I haven't seen any of the pause and then immediate homer after homer that people are describing. I know they exist, I just haven't run in to it at the levels I play at.

Another funny thing that happens is - whenever you hit a home run, opposing player immediately brings in Tyler Rogers. And then you get a hit on Tyler Rogers (cause you know, he kinda stinks) and they immediately quit.

@Pergo_MLBTS yeah, if you're doing BR or Ranked at higher levels - you're not gonna get many goofball players, but you do certainly run the risk of seeing "blatant cheater dude"

@rubicante23_PSN Yeah it seems like a bigger issue at higher levels for sure. I max out at about 700 in ranked at best. I'm just not good at HOF for online.

Online gameplay is pretty rotten right now. I hate having to enter each game trying to figure out if I'm going to be cheated, but this is where this game is at the moment. SDS putting it back on the customers to police it is absolutely unacceptable.

The only way to try to combat this is to slide step. The pitchers release point is different so they have to adjust the box (if you know you know). The way to tell if they adjusted is to just miss the strikezone. They will take the pitch. The switch release points and throw a strike. It is not great by any means but only so much you can do. You can try the Rogers thing but surely they have figured that out by now while SDS does nothing.

For anyone that says these can't be detected. They can. SDS CHOOSES not to do anything because it takes time and money.

Here's another thing. I promise you SDS has looked into this and know who and how many people are cheating and there are some high profile and high ranking people doing it. Think about it. YFK put out a video showing he did the glitch and spoke extremely bad about SDS and what happened? Yep, nothing. You think they are going to ban streaming cheaters? Not a chance.

You have. I could do that cheat on you, beat you every single time and you wouldn't have a clue.

Not to mention the hundreds of games the person only used the pitching cheat (again if you know you know). Yes, there are a TON of these. More than the other ones.

They must be very good at hiding it then. To the point where they use a cheat but still play it out like a completely normal game and don't even win all the time.

Usually when people say things like this they are doing it also and are trying to deflect. Funny thing is they don't need to because the gaming companies won't do anything about it.

Not everyone is cheating but there are a lot. I've lost plenty of legit games but to say there aren't that many when there were 40k in one discord alone is ignorant. Either you people are cheating or work for SDS and want the problem to disappear since they won't do anything about it. It will only get worse as the year goes on.
