Sorry, but don’t agree to ban the glitchers

@Dolenz_PSN I understand why people are upset. I really do. I did NOT exploit the glitch. I didn’t learn about it until a few hours into it and quite frankly I didn’t wanna get off my couch and go to the basement. I just can’t get on board with punishing people that exploited an SDS F Up. No matter what they decide they will alienate half the community……and it’s their own fault.

Yes because it was a know glitch that actually affects GAMEPLAY!!!! It is a glitch that give people an unfair advantage by abusing gameplay mechanics. Are just oblivious or actively unable to critically think?

Lol wow you are probably what 15 lol. It was SDS who made a mistake. You can't ban people for using it when they aren't banning actaul cheaters. My guess is you are just mad you didn't. I didn't either but promise if I wouldn't have been working and know I probably would have to. Stop being angry simply because SDS made a mistake.

Should the ban cheaters who use external devices and programs to cheat. Yes. It is against the rules.
Should they ban those that exploited this bug? Yes, it is against the rules.
Finding the exploiters is a whole lot easier than the cheaters though.
Simply search all game logs for 5/31 and find players who played more than 20 (or whatever number) games against the CPU that ended with a score of 0-0. There are your exploiters.
Do I think it will happen? Who knows
But it will be disappointing and I will be a little more disillusioned if they never publicly address it
Yeah but don't fix broken pitchers and just ignore people who went 6-0 in 10 minutes. Sds is to blame for ONCE again breaking their game. This kind of thing has happened every single year lol. Why do you think franchise doesn't count toward XP or MTO lol

@Rhyno1986_XBL You could get every card in the game, for free, in a few hours, and you don't think that gives people an unfair advantage? Right... Stop deluding yourself. Anybody that did the glitch cheated. Period. End of story. There is no discussion to be had. It was not something that you could do accidently. Every single person that did it knew it was cheating and knew exactly what they were doing, and had to actively choose to do it. Banning them serves no purpose, since they can't cheat in the same way going forward, but all of their accounts should absolutely be stripped bare and their stubs zeroed out.

Just a point of clarification. They didn’t cheat. They exploited. Different meanings; both worthy of beating banned.

@mietha_PSN if they ban the glitchers, without banning the cheaters, it will be pure anarchy. SDS put themselves in the awful situation they are in. That much is certain. It doesn’t matter which direction they go, they are screwed!

@platewelder_363_MLBTS It's not that clear cut. How the cheaters cheat COULD be done legitimately, it's just highly unlikely, so there is a margin for error. Anyone that did the glitch, did so intentionally, with full knowledge of their actions, and there was NO way to do it accidently or legitimately. Not saying action shouldn't be taken against the cheaters, I'm just saying they have to be careful to not have false positives. No such issue here. You either exploited, or you didn't. There is no margin for error nor is there any gray area.

No matter what they decide they will alienate half the community
I have been seeing people say that banning would effect half the community or some have said 75% of the community. I think people are severely overestimating how many people actually did it.
Most people who play probably don't follow social media accounts or watch youtubers or read this forum or reddit. The overwhelming majority of players probably still don't know about the glitch.
Shoot I do follow the forum and Social media and did not see it until it was over and done with.
